FLEXIBILITY I am very flexible with my check ins and check outs, and will meet you at the apartment to show you all that you need to know.

LIVING IN THE CANAL BELT! Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has been called the "Venice of the North" for its more than one hundred kilometers of canals, about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals, Herengracht, Prinsengracht, and Keizersgracht, dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings. The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010.

If that all sounds appealing, you should book right away! I will meet you at the apartment to check you in and out and tell you all you need to know about Amsterdam!

  • I stayed six days in ultra central studio and it was a very good experience. The studio is in a wonderful position in amsterdam, every interesting place is reacheable by walking. Good restaurants, market and shops are near the studio, which is provided of all comforts and is noiseless. We enjoyed a lot riding fred' bicycles. Fred was always very kind to our needs.....thanks fred...

  • The apartment was perfectly suited to my needs. It is well positioned surrounded by great shopping, cafés and bars with the red light district not far walk. Being located on one of the main canals is a definite bonus and the area is still quite being away from the heart of the red light district. The kitchen is well enough equipped and I cooked most nights I stayed. Fred was a great host meeting me very early to gain access after a long haul flight. I would definitely stay again and recommend this place to those coming to amsterdam.
    Thanks David

  • Fred's place is ideally located. It is bright and was clean and tidy when I arrived. The bed is a pull out couch bed so is fine, but I wouldn't want an extended stay on it. Fred was always at the end of a text so I was very happy with my stay.

  • We stayed at Fred's apartment early Sept for 3 nights. We're extremely happy with our choice.Perfect location and easy access. The apartment is also very tidy, well equipped, comfy bed, cozy with beautiful area. Fred is an excellent host and although we didnt had a chance to meet Fred in person but his friend, Thomas was very helpful & friendly too. They even helped us to book a cab to go to the airport. We would definately come again in future . My family was very happy with our stay. Highly recommended.

  • Like many have noted, the apartment couldn't be better located. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, etc nearby and the immediate area is beautiful. The place itself is as advertised and had all we needed for the stay. Fred was easy to communicate with and flexible with check in/check out.

  • This beautiful apartment is centrally located, easy to access, furnished simply yet very stylish and is super comfortable. The security is great and we felt safe and right at home. Fred was super helpful and I felt like I had a friend I could call on. Fred met us after hours to let us in then let us get on with it, however, I knew he wouldn't mind if we needed help or advice. Great apartment, super nice host.
