Interaction with guests
We don't always see/meet our guests. We try to give you all you need to have an "independent" experience and be readily available if they need/want for anything/help.
Yes, you are going on vacation in a neighborhood...! Not in a tourist corridor that is some what controlled. It's like you've moved into your own house for your stay, so the things that make you a good neighbor at home apply here. Please be considerate and respectful and let your host know (think of your call to me as calling the front desk at a hotel...) if something is going on before you write in in a review so it can be resolved for all the future guests!!

1. Contact Cathy if you have questions or concerns (noise, something broken, odd smell...). As much as we would like to... we do not allow pets or sublets. 2. PLEASE DO NOT: Smoking is not permitted on the property. The fireplace is for candles only. 4.. H20 USE AND RECYCLE: Please recycle (guide on washer lid) and conserve our precious water wherever possible - we are in a serious drought - please no baths!! 5. PARK: Park your car in the space behind the house. Check the signs if you street park. Call Cathy if someone is in the parking spot! 6. HEAT: The heater has set off the smoke detector if it's left on high enough. 65 degrees works, it helps to open the blinds on the front of the house and let the sun in! 8. COOK! The kitchen counter is wood block that is NOT designed to be cut on. Please use the cutting board supplied. 9. WASTE NOT: Feel free to leave extra food stuff that you'd like to find in the frig when you arrive...:) Take the rest with you or dispose of it properly. The trash and recycle receptacles are outside the gate at the sidewalk- note chart on washer. 10. SHEETS AND TOWELS: Leave soiled linens in the laundry basket in the bedroom closets (duvet cover can stay on the comforter if not soiled) and do your dishes before you go home. If you let me know if something isn't working or got broken, it helps so much. Often times I don't learn this until I have another guest walking in the door!
