LOCATION:(ideal part of Dubrovnik for vacation )
The apartment is situated in Dubrovnik neighborhood west side from center, near famous Dubrovnik bridge .
The beaches there are ideal for those looking for clear sea and plenty of sunshine. If you are looking for entertainment, cultural events or simply a place to unwind, you will certainly find it in Dubrovnik.
The city of Dubrovnik is situated in the very south of the Republic of Croatia. The geographical position of the area is typical of the classic Mediterranean or 'estasian' climate with mild and damp winters, and hot dry summers at quite low air humidity .
The average air temperature is 20°C and the summer sea temperature is 24°C approx. A maximum variation of 4°C is very beneficial to the nervous system and general health. There are many sunny days during the winter months. The gentle Maestral - the messenger of lovely weather, refreshes the average summer temperature of 27°C whereas during the cooler months, the Bura and Jugo winds prevail. The city encloses the Elaphite archipelago (Sipan, Lopud, Kolocep, Tajan, Olipa, Jakljan and Daksa).
Very warm welcome of Daria and her family. She directly gave us good tips where to swim and how to get to Dubrovnik. Communication was very easy. The apartment is very nice and clean. We would fully recommend this appartment. It was a nice stay
It was a lovely stay in Dubrovnik! We were late checking in due to our flight being delayed and we were greeted very kindly! The apartment was clean and beautiful as pictured. The view is lovely! The only downside to this apartment is the location. If you don't rent a car you must either take the bus around 8 AM or 12 PM or later. Also coming back there isn't a bus past 4:45aprx so you must take a taxi. Although the taxi ride is cheap (100 kuna) it can add up. Also there isn't much shopping around the apartment for grocery. However the UP side to the location is the peace and quiet! The local beach is clear and beautiful. The peaceful location makes the commute into the city worth it! Dubrovnik has been our favourite city in Europe out of 9 so far :) thank you to Daria & family for helping us enjoy our stay!
Very well equipped apartment with very helpful and friendly hosts! :)
Daria gave us good reccomendations what to do in Dubrovnik. There's also a good restaurant 5 minutes walking from the apartment.
It was so good to stay there!
A wee cozy nest indeed! Daria and Roberto were extremely kind and helpful. We couldn't of wished for better hosts. Lozica is a fantastic little spot away from Dubrovnik. With a fantastic views and free parking it was everything we wanted. Lozica even has a wee beach that is a total suntrap. Fantastic! Daria gave info on the buses. For 15kn a head, you will be given a 1hr ticket that you can use to go anywhere. The bus from Lozica takes you to the main bus depot where you can jump on numerous buses to go anywhere. From Daria's, we found ourselves at the Old Town's Pile gate in 30mins!!! Score! The apartment is cool during the day which is a big bonus if you live far FAR north like us! It really is a cosy nest! Oh, the free parking is amazing because it soooo much in Dubrovnik! So, our final message is...if you are travelling to Dubrovnik, please stay here if you want fantastic hosts, a peaceful time, FREE PARKING and a lovely wee cove/beach when you cant be bother to rub shoulder with the other tourists in Dubrovnik! Hvala Daria and Roberto.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in Lozica. The view was great, and the apartment pretty clean (besides a few ants).
There is a great little locals beach 100m down the road. Not as crowded as the main beach areas.
The only downside is that it's too far to walk to the City centre, and buses are few.
On the weekend taxi is the only option, besides taking your own car - which we didn't want to do as parking I expensive and pretty stressful to drive in there.
So for a quiet break, really awesome. If you want hustle and bustle, stay closer.
The home was exactly how it looked in the pictures. The view was gorgeous. Home was super clean. Daria was not there while we stayed but her husband, Roberto, was. He was very kind... even let us borrow an umbrella when it rained so we didn't have to purchase one. We would highly recommend anyone stay at this airbnb when in Dubrovnik.

About the Host, Daria & Family :) Welcome
I graduated at faculty of law in Split, and before the university I was going in Gimnasium Dubrovnik 06/07.
Last winter I took the courses for accounting and auditing at RRIF at Zagreb , and took an exams for internal auditor and now I do the specialization at University for finance .
What really makes me happy is to work with my family as a host and in tourism during the season :) . It is a great opportunity to meet various people .
And even though all hosts of private accommodations are not professionals , me and my family are striving by working together , cooperating and learning to achieve high level of service .
I strive to be very professional and accurate in everything I do , so as in being a host with my family , it is not easy but we do our best and learn a lot along the way .
PLEASE READ FURTHER :)
From experience the best would be to do like this : If you decide to book , please let me know if you are arriving with a car , bus or from airport so that I can send you directions to the apartment in details , also it would be good , if you book the accommodation , that you send me your email address so that I could send you a map with marked location and coordinates .
If you are coming prior to the check in time let me know so that I can be ready and that I can help you with luggage until the apartment is prepared or that I arrange the cleaning lady earlier ( if the guests before you leave before theirs check out time ) and prepare the apartment earlier for you .
I encourage you to ask anything that you would like to know before you make booking .
On the arrival I or one of my dear family members will wait for you , help you to settle in and provide you maps of local area and some useful advises .
I am always available to come if you need my assistance and via cell phone and email and my family members as well .
For sure , since I also travel , I must mention that it is good to explore little bit on your own about the area you are visiting ( as lots of people were surprised that there are stairs in Dubrovnik , and they did not checked the fact that Dubrovnik is built under a hill :) )
We very much respect guests privacy and of course the guests needs to respect some house rules like in hotel .
In addition :) I love animals , I am a vegetarian , I believe in world peace and I love Dubrovnik as it is so relaxing town and I hope you will love it as much as I .
My family is very professional , hearty and helpful .
Honest best wishes ,
Your potential hosts ,
Daria & family
