**For those interested I have 7 other units in the same building that suit different needs. To view them click my profile picture and scroll down till you see the "see all listings" button on the left.
Now onto this unit, its is completely upgraded & has designer finishes & furnishings. The floor plan and the layout is very similar to my other units (also listed) and is about 650 sq ft, fully equipped and centrally located. The unit has a nice spacious feel to it, meaning that its not cramped and can easily accommodate more then the recommended (2). The kitchen is "open air" styled and equipped with coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, etc. Its a really good unit for people staying long term or here for any of the million conventions that take place in Atlanta throughout the year. Of course if you are a tourist of Atlanta this location is really ideal.
We have a lot of guest who stay here specifically for the location. We are seconds from every big hotel chain located in downtown Atlanta, from the America's Mart and from the Georgia World Congress Center. Georgia Dome or Phillips Arena are walking distance from this property. You can actually see the GA Aquarium and the World of Coke from this unit. Being this unit is downtown there is always something open to do, restaurants, bars, diners etc. The neighborhood has a good vibe during the day (just like any good metropolis) but if you want to slow things down you can walk a few blocks north to Midtown where things are a bit more relaxed and "polished". We eat out a lot here so if you're not to picky just let me know I'll help you find some place I may think you'd like around here.
Location: Walking distance to America's Mart, Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, Phillips Arena, Georgia Dome, Georgia World Congress Center, New World of Coca-Cola Museum, Fox Theatre, CNN Center Etc. (If you are visiting for a convention, trade show or special event please contact us regarding event pricing, in most cases there is an increase)
Dining: Located on Peachtree close to Allen Plaza, Luckie Marietta. Midtown and Buckhead are a short drive or MARTA.
Transportation' One block from 'Peachtree Center' MARTA rail station, with convenient access to Airport and Metro Atlanta. Save $30 airport taxi fare. There is a cab stand located across the street from the building. Bus stops are scattered throughout Peachtree and parking garages (covered and uncovered) located throughout the neighborhood.
Parking: Being downtown the units are not assigned parking spaces. There are plenty of lots located within the block and we often have discounted passes to offer guests at $12/nt)
Initially, there was a problem with getting the wrong set of keys, but Yasser had it resolved in about 4 minutes, so turned out to be a non-issue. After that, everything was great. Apartment was clean, looked like the pictures, and had a great view. Other than regular city noise, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and I got some great sleep! The concierges at the front-desk were helpful and polite. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend others do so.
The only issue with the apartment (not a big deal) was that the toilet would leak if you didn't lift the handle after a flush. I've informed Yasser, and he said he'll take care of it.
Yasser was also very helpful in getting me booked into this apartment and making sure everything was ready to go. Thanks again!
I stayed here for few days over NYE, which was great. The apartment is clean and comfortable; having everything you would need for a short stay. It also has a great view of the city from the balcony. And the location is really convenient.
As a Christmas gift, we sent our pastor to Atlanta for an overnight trip with his wife. He reported back that Yasser and his family were great hosts. They provided great recommendations as to what to see and do in the area. He said the lobby was very nice and impressive, but unfortunately the rest of the building wasn't maintained well. The apartment was clean, but not what he remembered from the pictures I showed him. In fact, he would have guessed it was a different apartment. When I showed him the pictures after his trip, he said it had the same set-up, but that the pictures were very deceiving. While they had a good time, he said he would not stay there again.
The pictures were taken by AirBNB's photographer and are fair representation of the property. The confusion may have arose because the sofa's in the picture were destroyed by the past guest and I had to place a temporary solution for the mean time (different color sofa). New sofa's will be purchased and new photos will be taken after the new year. (Currently there is a sofa with a cover and a red leather love seat in the unit.)
Yasser is a great host who lives in the same building. We arrived before the checkin time, which is at 3 pm, but he was kind enough to let us and provided us with a parking pass. The condo is very clean, well kept and directly in downtown Atlanta with bars within a stone's throw. A head's up: When first arriving the parking is available in the area marked public parking for a cost. Just keep going in until the end. Cheers. And thanks Yasser.
Great apartment in the perfect location for GW conference centre downtown. Minutes from many of the large expensive hotels that are normally affiliated to the centre. Great value.
Effective concierge service for collecting the key on arrival making check-in and check-out very flexible.
Yasser was a great host and lives in the building also so was on hand to answer any questions or help out if needed.
The place was awesome the view was on point location was great too will definitely be reserving again soon. Thanks Yasser
Yasser is very nice, and asked several times if we needed something during our stay. He also fixed the internet issues quickly. I recommend, without a doubt
Extremely communicative, left no stone unturned to ensure a pleasant stay. This apartment was two blocks away from the conference hotel (4 minute walk), larger than most hotel rooms and less expensive. A great experience all the way around.
The reservation was canceled 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I had to cancel this guests reservation due to a miscommunication. I had sent the guest a copy of house rules (which included no house parties) and after receiving the request. the guest sent a booking request which I accepted. I assumed they had read the terms and agreed, which is why they confirmed booking. She updated me later on that she wanted to host a birthday party for her boyfriend but due to homeowners association rules I would not have been allowed to accommodate that." She was very understanding and i invited her to spend a romantic vacation with us sometime.
