I live in a nice big cozy, peruvian style house, it has two floors,
on the second floor is my room and 3 guest rooms
Yours will be the one where the sun shines in the morning, and you can hear the birds sing.
This room is equipped with a single bed, a night stand with light, and a huge cupboard.
on the second floor is also a bathroom with a shower, this bathroom is shared with the other guests, but one can take turns, or even use the one that is downstairs, at the common areas if the one on the 2nd floor is in use.
On the first floor one can enjoy the common areas:
a big kitchen which is shared with me and the other guest. There you can prepare your own meals, or maybe even share a peruvian dish with us.
A living room where one can sit comfortable while watching tv (it has cable) or even if you have a laptop, take advantage of the wifi internet connection for free
A dining room with a multimeadia place, one can use the computer and there is also a printer in case you need to print anything. Here we also have maps and books where you can find information about where to go and what to do in Lima and its surroundings.
it also has a tiny bathroom which is used by your guests.
Behind the kitchen, outside there is a washing machine, and space to hang your clothes, there is also a basin where you can wash your delicate clothes by hand.
The neighborhood is quite safe and quite, no need to worry if you come back late home or go out. there is also a neighborhood watch.
Near by there is Plaza Vea, a well known big supermarket. a few blocks away from the Huaca Pucllana, an ancient archeological ruin. It is only 15min walk until the Kennedy park, which is the heart of Miraflores,, there you can find a cinema, lots of restaurants, the city toursusually start from there. Near by (more or less 4blocks from the house) is the Inka Market, here you will find lots of souvenirs, clothes made out of alpaca and native artcrafts.
One can also walk until Larcomar, a well known open mall with ocean view.
I am a biologist specialized in native plants, I have my own vegetable garden at the entrance of this house and on the roof top, thus most of my meals are served with fresh leaves, and the teas are also made out of fresh herbs, you ar welcome to enjoy this nice natural freshly made dishes and drinks.
Me and my friends are willing to help you in whatever we can, to make your stay more enjoyable, and if we have time we might even take you to see some non touristic nice places from Lima
Stay here and you could give this host their first review!
