My big and bright living room with a balcony and a large sofa bed is great for a solo traveler or a traveling couple. The place is 5 min from the city center by bike or 8 min by public transport in a popular part of Heidelberg. 2 bikes available.
The living room is quite big and you can have your privacy as this is a separate room. You'd also have a balcony facing the hills and a small garden.
There is my small collection of vintage cameras in the room. You can also have a look at them if you want a basic idea of evolution of photography.
Clean bedsheets and blankets, towels, Breakfast, 2 Bikes, Hairdryer, internet and a warm welcome are included :)
Bathroom - The bathroom has a bathtub and toilet which will be shared by us. You can also use the washing machine if required.
Breakfast - Cereals and toast, Instant coffee/tea, You can also use my kitchen for cooking.
Interaction with Guests
Depending upon your mood and choice, it can be some chat over a drink or just hello. I love meeting new people and I normally spend some time talking with my guests on topics varying from popular culture to politics and philosophy, there's always some topic of mutual interest.
If you want, I can also recommend the best things to do in and around Heidelberg depending on the time that you have and what you'd like to see/do.
The apartment is in a popular residential area of Heidelberg with good access to the city and is also close to the woods and hills. This is not in the middle of the crowded touristic part of Heidelberg, but a residential part of the city with very good accessibility.
There is good public transport just 3 minutes away or you can be in the city center in 5 minutes by bike.
The city center is a 5 min bike ride or a 15 min walk
by Public transport - 6 min tram/bus ride. The nearest nearest bus/tram/train stop is 3 min away.
Heidelberg Railway station - 6 min tram ride / 2 min train ride / 5 min by bike
Free parking spots available around.

Manu was very welcoming and we had some great conversations. He has travelled a lot and it was interesting to share our experiences. The room was comfortable and I slept well. It is in a quiet part of town and the city centre is accessible by foot. I would recommend Manu's place, as I had a comfortable and interesting stay and he is a great host.
Very comfortable and clean flat. We were a bit worried about the sofa bed, but it was very comfortable. Manu was pleasant and helpful and relaxed about check in times, etc. About 20 minutes walk from the town centre and near a tram stop. Would recommend.
Very great stay. Manu is very nice, the room is comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet. Convenient location. Highly recommended.
Nice and cosy place at Manu's. Manu came to pick us at hbf as we were kinda lost having gotten delayed by the train strike. He even gave us two bikes and brought us to town while wheeling his bike while I failed in riding that day.
He even offered us beers while we first chatted when we first stepped into his place. Gave us insights to the place and all. Manu's place is very neat and he even prepared water with cups.
Although we didn't get to speak much to Manu as we only stayed 2 days I'm very sure his hospitality will charm any guests for more days in Heidelberg as meeting conversation holders while travelling is pretty hard to come by these days.
Topping it off, Manu tried to help us and picked our call when we had an emergency to visit a dentist in Heidelberg as foreigners. Well..
I'll totally recommend Manu's place.
I love traveling and meeting new people and talking about life and culture in places they've lived and traveled (preferably over a beer ;) ). I try to live a minimalistic life and try to own less and share more.
When I travel, I like to explore more the non-touristic parts of the places and watch the "normal" life in that place.
I also do some street photography with my analog cameras and run half marathons once in a while.
Although I'd been living in Heidelberg for 5 years now, my German is quite bad, thanks to my very international workplace and the city.
The thing I love about Airbnb is that it gives me a chance to meet people I'd have not met otherwise, people with very different perspectives of life, some of them have taught me things about their cultures and how those cultures see things. Some of them have inspired me to read more and travel more, and some to dream more.
Hope to see you soon!
