Ikigai Riverside Villa is a romantic adults-only stay on the Pärnu River, just 8 minutes from Pärnu city centre. Nordic-Japanese design, natural materials and panoramic river views create a warm, distinctive setting for two.

Enjoy a year-round outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the river, traditional wood-burning sauna, cosy fireplace and riverside terrace with grill and firepit. In warmer months, take the complimentary boat onto the river or swim directly from the jetty or riverside stairs.

The space
Designed especially for two, the villa has large panoramic windows that bring the river and surrounding landscape into the interior. A king-size canopy bed, natural textures and carefully chosen details give the space its warm and intimate character.

Step onto the riverside terrace with lounge seating, a charcoal grill and firepit — ideal for slow mornings by the water and relaxed evenings outdoors. In the warmer months, guests have complimentary use of a boat, weather and river conditions permitting.

Inside the villa, a traditional wood-burning sauna offers an authentic Nordic sauna experience. Afterwards, cool off with a dip in the river or relax in the year-round outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the water.

The fully equipped kitchen includes premium appliances and a Smeg espresso machine. On arrival, a complimentary breakfast selection awaits you: free-range eggs, ready-to-bake pastries, porridge oats, muesli, coffee, tea, milk, cream and bottled water.

Complimentary bicycles are available for exploring the surroundings or cycling into Pärnu. Optional canoe trips and private sunset boat cruises with a captain can be arranged during the summer season. Food delivery from local restaurants is available via Bolt Food and Wolt.

Guest access
Free parking is located approximately 30 metres from the villa, with access via a lighted staircase from the marked parking area.

Guests have access to the riverside area between the stairs and the jetty. Swimming is possible directly from the jetty, and a separate riverside staircase provides easier entry into the water.

Water depth near the staircase is approximately 50–150 cm depending on the river level, while the depth at the jetty is around 2 metres upon entry.

The hosts live on the same riverside property, while the villa has its own dedicated guest area by the river. We are nearby if assistance is needed while respecting our guests’ space throughout their stay.

The Pärnu River is an active natural environment. During the warmer months, boats and other watercraft may occasionally pass the villa.

Due to the river, deep water and open terraces, the property is not suitable for children. Parties, events and pets are not permitted.
