We had a great stay in Edinburgh and Jo-Ann's apartment. The apartment was very cozy and well (website hidden)-Ann provided us with everything we needed including power adapters, towels, linen and kitchen essentials. The building is a bit old, but it didn't bother us at all since the apartment and all of its facilities are great. Overall, the apartment was exactly what we expected and we are very glad.
The location of the apartment was great for our needs. It is very well connected to all parts of Edinburgh via bus and it was not difficult to get around, whether by foot or by bus. There are many shops close to the apartment, and lovely coffee places and restaurants near by. It took us about 30 minutes walking leisurely to reach the town center, and much less when taking the bus.
We are glad we stayed in Leith because we got to see this interesting and lively part of Edinburgh. The apartment fulfilled our needs and (website hidden)-Ann provided us with a manual for the apartment which was very (website hidden)-Ann was available for any questions we had and communication with her was very easy and nice. She responded timely to all our questions and was very welcoming. We are very glad we chose this apartment and fully recommend it.
Thanks to Jo-Ann for the kind, helpful communication before arrriving. Same for the communication while our staying. Although she wasn´t in town, there were no difficulties of getting in touch with her (i.e. questions) via e-mail or phone. Everything worked quite well.
The flat itself was clean and fully equiped, even a little bit more like this: There was huge range of food and things around that it seemed like someone gave way because of our booking...
However, we liked it, had a great time in Edinbugh and can reccommend to stay there.
We had a really nice time in Edinburgh! Joanna is very friendly and quick in responding to messages, the flat is lovely and clean, and there were a lot of practical things present, like tea, herbs, maps, information folders and a travel plug.
The flat is located in Leith, not to far from the city center (and close to lots of buses that go in that direction anyway), and we made a few evening walks through the harbor area. Would definitely recommend.
Joanna è una persona meravigliosa...il suo appartamento è in ottima posizione, il Leith è un quartiere spettacolare tutto da scoprire collegato benissimo. Lo consiglio!
Joanna was very accommodating for our stay in Edinburgh. The apartment was very clean and in a quiet street in Leith. We would stay again, thanks Joanna.
I really had a very good stay in Edinburgh.
Joanna is a perfect host looking for really everything you need, with a lot of small attentions.
The flat which is situated in the popular district of Leith, is very well equipped and functional. Lots of buses (even at night) are accessible nearby.
A very good place to stay in Edinburgh !
And thanks for everything to Joanna for her kind and warming welcome, she's a very nice person!
We had a wonderful week in Edinburgh! Joanna and her daughter met us at the flat exactly on schedule, having cleaned meticulously and prepared some welcoming treats for us. She gave us a thorough tour and made sure we understood how to use the appliances before she headed out on her own Airbnb trip. She also checked in during the week to see how we were doing, and provided us with a feedback sheet.
The flat itself was what we expected, and a good bargain for the money. It was a bit cramped for three people, but would probably be comfy for two. The street outside was noisy at times, but not a problem when the windows were closed. The streetlight shone directly in the window; we have suggested blackout curtains to make for a better night's sleep.
Joanna is a new host and eager to improve the experience, so we hope future guests will provide feedback as well.
