We had a wonderful time at this house. It is the perfect location for family to visit a student at The University of Minnesota or attend one of their games. It is also the perfect venue for family and friends to stay for a wedding at The Varsity Theater or Nicollet Island Inn, ect. My family rented the house out for my sisters wedding and it was the perfect bride central. We could walk to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery store, and it was only a $4 cab to the reception venue. The amenities were great - thank you air conditioning and internet! The home is wonderful, warm, and inviting (its better than the pictures) and Angie the host is really great.
I can totally recommend this location. The house is really modern, clean and has a great feel. Angie was highly responsive and professional. This goes on my - reserve again list.
I rented this house for use by us, our daughter and her fiance, and other family as they arrived in MSP to prepare for our daughter's wedding. The house could not have been more perfect-roomy, clean, plenty of dishes and cooking tools, storage space (for a DIY wedding items), room to work on last minute wedding projects, and also plenty of off street parking. It's proximity to the grocery, pharmacy, fun shops, restaurants, etc. is an added plus. We enjoyed using the picnic table and yard, too. Angie and Matt were great hosts, responding to emails quickly, flexible and accommodating. We got to meet Matt and found him to be very friendly, as well.
A group of us stayed in Angie's home while we were in town for the Eyeo 2012 conference. The house was clean, flooded with natural light, well-provisioned, conveniently situated, and provided a perfect backdrop for six friends from across the country to converge and reconnect. The kitchen was large and open, allowing us to banter back and forth as we prepared group meals, and the five bedrooms (all equipped with full/queen beds) provided the necessary privacy at the end of the night. The location was great -- accessible to both public bikes and buses that ran downtown, with a grocery store a few short blocks away. Nicollet Island featured some pretty amazing views of the Mississippi and South Main Street is lined with a number of bars and restaurants. Lastly, but perhaps most importantly -- communication with Angie was easy and always thorough, as were the instructions for recycling and wi-fi access. We'd love to come back!
