Anfi Tauro, Private Pool & Hot Tub

Villa - Entire home/apt · Anfi Topez, Mogán, Gran Canaria 35138, Spain

Amazing villa with private garden, heated salt water pool and separate hot tub set in the idyllic Tauro Valley. The spacious villa is beside the 1st fairway of the Anfi Tauro golf course. It is ideal for families looking to get away and relax.

The Space

This villa is the most spectacular in the popular Anfi Tauro complex in the quiet and idyllic Tauro valley.

Imagine waking up to the sounds of tweeting birds as the sun rises over the golf course beside the villa. Take a dip in the private heated swimming pool then relax in the hot-tub. When you are up for it, brew some coffee and have breakfast in the lush garden. Plenty of time for golfing or sunbathing later :-)

The villa is very well kept and equipped and has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet.

Decorated for owner living so the villa looks likes a home and not a rental property

All three large bedrooms have plenty of closet space and a private terrace garden door with direct access to the immaculate private gardens. Master bedroom has its own private ensuite bathroom with separate shower room, bathroom and toilet.

All bedrooms are interconnected so ease of access is especially convenient for families.

The kitchen is fully equipped and the big living room has comfortable lounge with TV and many international TV channels (SKY - TV). There is a big dining table both inside and outside.

Recently installed new reverse osmosis water filter system in kitchen which allows guests to drink safe and clean water without having to visit supermarkets for bottled water.

The lush tropical garden has sun all day, sun loungers and a private heated swimming pool with salt water (no chemicals). In the garden there is also a built-in charcoal BBQ in addition to a separate gas BBQ and a practical sink for outdoor cooking.

This bungalow is very privately situated and from the upper terrace you will find fantastic views over the Atlantic ocean sunset and the golf course. The villa overlooks the 1st fairway of the Anfi Tauro gold championship course.

The Anfi Tauro complex also has a big common saltwater swimming pool, a practical supermarket and a nice grill restaurant nearby (with free WiFi). Anfi Tauro Golf is within walking distance and has a fantastic 18 hole course, a 9 hole course, a driving range and a golf school.

The closest beach is less than 10 minutes walk away. It's a nice walk along the side of the golf course.

The spectacular beach Playa Amadores is just 20 minutes walk away and only 4 minutes by car.

With a rental car or taxi you will reach Puerto Rico in 3 minutes, Puerto Mogan in 9 minutes on the new highway, Playa del Ingles in 20 minutes and Las Palmas airport in 30 minutes.

Guest Access

Access to the complete villa...including all 3 bedrooms and the utility room.

Interaction with Guests

I am active on AirBnB and many other websites and I am happy to answer questions. We also have our friend who will welcome you to the villa and be on hand to deal with any issues or problems.

The Neighborhood

Quiet and relaxed. It is perfect for families or people looking to get away and relax. If you are looking to party then I would suggest somewhere else.

Getting around

We recommend hiring a car but its not essential as there are restaurants nearby and a great supermarket within 2 minutes walk. Taxis are easy to arrange also.

Other Things to Note

It's my Fathers villa but I look after the online rentals for him. He spends a lot of time in the villa so its kept in great condition.

  • The house is excellent for a family vacation and the host has been very proactive in making sure everything was fine for our stay - especially to get the Internet free of charge throughout the house and getting a second baby cot!! The house is spacious (we were 4 adults and 3 kids), in good condition, mattresses are comfortable, and there are power showers in each bathroom. Also no lounging chairs or hamoc on the outside terrasse but that was ok
The residence is in excellent condition, with 3 swimming pools - no fitness center however as all the equipment was under repair when we were there.
Service of cleaning and laundry from the residence staff is handy.
It is located in a secluded area outside of Sha'am which means you definitely need a car or motorbike to go shopping or go out for dinner/lunch.
The beach was not usable much when we were there because of many jelly fish - i think there is some season for this so it's important to check when is good time to go there.
Overall very happy with this family reunion holiday. I would recommend to stay at Ger's beach villa.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. The gym has been closed for a while now and I have updated my listings accordingly.... Sauna is still available though.
There was a big storm just before you arrived so that could have caused the jelly fish - not sure really but the swimming pools are OK to use :-)
Hope you come back again :-)

  • We stayed at Baan TaLay samran for 4 nights during the long weekend. The house itself is beautiful and landscaping also nice. The house is very spacious that enough to entertain all of us. Pools are the mean highlights for our children.

Please keep in mind this place is located on very remote area that mean hard to get around without your own vehicle. Only one local hut restaurant and a lil local run minimart within 120 meters ( restaurant close at 5-6 pm) The beach is ok with ton of jelly fish around. I would say pretty rocky beach with shells around.. Water shoes would help I guess.

We had a air conditioning problem on our 2nd night in my bedroom. It was leaking and make so much noise. The maintenance guy tried to fix it but they couldn't do anything much until the day I left . The owner offered us to use only one of the bedroom next door but we refused due to our young children preferred to have us around in the same house at night.

I would suggest to have more towels and hand towels in each bathrooms. We had to use only towel each for pool , beach and after shower for 5 days 4 (website hidden) was pretty gross. If I knew they didn't provided enough I would have brought it myself.

Overall, this place is good for big family to hang out during the weekend.. Don't forget to Stock up groceries..

  • Great place. The villa is excellent -- cozy and very well maintained. A real bargain at the price being offered. Also, the proximity from the beach is good. There's a small store walking distance from the villa for cold drinks and snacks. Beer and softdrinks are also available at the front office, but you need to stock up and put in the ref because it's not cold. (No Guinness to celebrate St. Patrick's in either :-( )
The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because the place is quite a walk or bike ride from the town proper and good eating places (but not an issue with a car), and you need to pay for wifi.

About
I love travelling and have been all over the world but have settled down in Thailand now. After a year working in the rice fields up North we recently opened a new restaurant in Yasothon. I used to live in Cha-am and my beach villa is available for rent. I visit regularly so the place is kept in excellent condition. When I was younger I travelled the world solo for 13 months. It was a life changing experience and one of my favourite destinations was South East Asia. A few years later I retrained as an IT specialist and managed to secure a decent job in Thailand. Ever since then I have made Thailand my home. I learnt the language and can speak, read and write Thai to a decent level. I lived in the Cha-am villa for over a year so I know exactly what the area is like and will give real and honest advice. I am happy to help with any questions you may have. Please get in touch. Due to the recent success in bookings I am now also helping out my Father with his villa rental in Gran Canaria. I have visited there many times myself and give local insight and advice. My Father lives there for over half the year so whatever I cant help with, he will be able to!
