I booked for 4 days . It was quite a unique experience with this house. It happened in the second day.
On the second night I couldn't get in the house which seems tightly closed. It looked like nobody was in the house and the host did not answer my calls or messages at all. Waited for 2 hrs, outside. After all, I slept in a nearby motel instead.
The next day(3rd day), around 10:30 AM, finally I was able to get in touch with the host (he said he was treveling in the uninhabited island while I was wandering outside house) by phone and received a refund on the room by internet banking. Done!.
This is my review... ...hmmmmm.
And one more thing!
The room photos of preview are a lot fancier than the room I stayed. The room was about 1/3 size smaller and has simpler furnishing. It was very different from what I expected.
Very nice eco-friendly house near mountains, which is only 10 mins away by car from Bundang area. Was concerned about the location before checking in, as I knew that it's difficult to get around without a car there, but Mr. Ha was happy to give us a lift from/to the house and the tube station anytime we want. We also took the yellow local bus just to explore the neighbourhood, which comes every 30 mins.
There are loads of restaurants (mostly Korean cuisine and a bit pricey) and Mr. Ha took us to those nice places nearby, where we enjoyed the authenticity of Korean food. Mrs. Ha also cooked for us a few times!
He was such a great company to spend time with and eager to explain almost everything we were curious about, history, economy, architecture, etc.
The only problem we had during our stay was that the guestroom has a single bed(we are a couple!), which didn't match the initial description of the place. Will be great if it's sorted out before other fellow travellers check in there. :)
In a nutshell, we will definitely stay here again, and can't wait to visit Korea in the nearest future!
