to provide both safety and privacy, my cameras are in shared spaces only. they are standard nest cams that capture audio and video, and history is stored for 60 days.

none of the cameras point towards guest rooms or can see into them from outside. all bedrooms and bathrooms are completely private.

the sole intent of the cameras is to monitor common areas where interactions between me, my pets, or other guests may occur.

Guest access
all guests will receive a unique guest code for:
— the smart lock on the front door
— the adt alarm system
these codes will be valid only for the duration of the stay

each guest room has its own physical keys. lost keys will incur a replacement fee of $50 per key.

During your stay
make yourself at home! i’ll mostly be doing my own thing but you can message me anytime with anything you might need.

in terms of the pets (1 dog 3 cats) — they are very friendly and will likely say hi to you. if you leave your bedroom door open, at least 1 of them will venture in and hang out with you, but if you keep your door closed, they won’t bother you.

Other things to note
i generally keep it cozy and calm, but please remember this is a regular home so you may hear light sounds of me, my family, or my pets existing. this may include conversation, tv/music, walking/moving around, kitchen sounds, and/or an occasional bark or meow.

as for the neighborhood, this is a very quiet residential community, with a nearby high school. most of the time, the only things you might hear during the day are a neighbor’s gardener, or sounds from the high school like cheering from a sporting event, or band practice (my favorite). and at night, you might just hear a dog bark now and then, but very minimally.
