We had a wonderful stay at Rob's apartment. We were with the four of us which was a bit cramped at moments. The second bed is a sofa bed in the sitting room. Rob kindly brought us some more chairs so we could sit at the table with four. The apartment is very good situated. You are in walking distance from nice places where you can drink coffee or eat out. Even the health food store is close by. The place was clean and comfortabel. We did not hear other people in the building. We could very easily drive up to Lewis & Klark where we visited our son.
We found a nice surprise when we arrived, thank to Rob and Debbie
We arrived late in the midst of a winter ice storm. The instructions for getting there and entry were perfect. The space was clean and comfortable. We spent more time on site than expected as it was so cold and icy outside and the hot tub though shared with other units was warm and lovely and largely unoccupied. The bed was quite firm and there were lots of pillows and a comforter for the bed so snuggling up with cocoa worked out well. I would stay here again.
Rob's place is so charming and lovely! My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the vintage style, including real old vinyl records and a vintage record player! Rob made everything easy from instructions on how to get into the place, to surprising us with a free bottle of wine, to going the extra mile to return our hairdryer after we had checked out. The hot tub and backyard fire pit are really nice. The bed was comfortable and the sleeping was quiet. It's also within easy walking distance of great food or a short drive to Downtown or the Pearl. We would stay at Rob's place again in a heartbeat!
We had such a great time here! Beautiful apartment outfitted with everything we could ask for, and the hot tub and fire pot in the back yard a nice plus. We were lucky enough to meet rob and he is really lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time at the Ash street apt. It is very clean & in a great location & Rob with very nice!!
This address had all we were looking for: comfort, location, atmosphere. The guest/guide book was much appreciated. We know the Portland area a bit, and felt at home to explore more.
Rob's apartment was so beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It was really easy to get anywhere in town, even without a car, with several bus stops nearby. We hope to stay here again this year!
We had a very pleasant stay on Ash Street over Thanksgiving weekend. The apartment was very comfortable and a great neighborhood for us. It was too cold/rainy to enjoy the firepit or to take advantage of the back patio, but it looked like a great place to relax. My only quibble was that there was no dresser, so we had to live out of our suitcases for the four days we were there. Just a minor blip in an otherwise great experience.
What a wonderful Portland home for my teen daughter and myself for six nights leading up to Thanksgiving! Perfectly located, and in a beautifully restored old Portland home. The outdoor hot tub was the ideal end of a day after the stress of house-hunting. Very quiet, great owner responsiveness, and perfect ease of check in and out. We split up, with one person in the bedroom, and alternating on the semi-comfortable living room hidabed. But what fold-out is really comfortable? It was fine overall. I cannot say enough great things about this beautifully run and darling apartment in the coolest part of Portland!
We very much enjoyed our trip to Portland! Thank you Rob for your dinner suggestion for our first evening - couldn't have been better. We loved the Urban Delight. The cleanliness was an absolute five star!! The place had everything we needed and Rob was very responsive when contacted. Lots to do within walking distance too.
I read someone say the wifi was slow, and we had that experience as well, but mostly did not need this. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful Portland experience - our biggest regret was that we didn't plan a longer trip!
