Far enough removed from Fairbanks light pollution for perfect Aurora viewing but still a comfortable (and gorgeous) drive in for groceries or dinner in town. As gorgeous as the drive in to town is, its even better out to Chena hot springs resort. This location cuts the drive in half from town to the Hot Springs to allow for an easy evening of fun at the resort. You don't need a room there to enjoy their phenomenal restaurant and bar or to buy a day pass for a soak in the springs!
