We can arrange a wide choice of activities during your visit, including air tours, cycling, horse riding, and ballooning – after which you can enjoy a peaceful respite from your busy day site-seeing, or mulling it over with a glass of Chianti wine, taking in the stunning views and enjoying our hospitality.
In one of the original garden pavilions, two luxury suites have been opened to guests. These conversions offer a quiet and private space to savour the Tuscan lifestyle. Although skilfully designed around its original features, complimenting the surrounding buildings, the rustic guesthouse contains a wealth of modern features. Guests can enjoy the use of their own cooking and dining facilities, living room and a private garden with a hot, open-air jacuzzi. The guesthouse can comfortably accommodate four people in two suites.
This charming and elegant pavilion is situated within the estate of Villa di Geggiano. Recently renovated, the pavilion contains new and modern amenities combined with contemporary furnishings. This property is an ideal retreat for travelers who want to spend some days far from the crowd in this exclusive location.
The Pavilion has a total capacity of 4 persons but it has been designed to be easily divided into two independent suites.
Each of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with bath tub and separate shower, there are two more bathrooms off the kitchen and living room. All of the bathrooms are modern and finely designed as the entire Pavilion, that has been completely refurbished by one of the Italian leading architects with the direct collaboration of the owner.
This property has a high level of modern facilities such as high-speed Internet, SAT TV, air-conditioning and heating. Outdoors the well manicured garden and olive groves offer pleasant surroundings and al fresco dining in the Pavilion private garden.
The private outdoor Jacuzzi (measuring 3x4m. can be both hot and cold water) built in an ancient stone basin and placed under the garden’s trees offers the perfect relief after a day exploring the countryside.
The owner’s villa and its gardens are a National Heritage property and the organic vineyards produce 50,000 bottles a year of Chianti Classico and Tuscan IGT.
Available upon arrival.
One of the most beautiful places we have stayed, and we have stayed at 5 star hotels and Amans around the world. The residence apartments are a beautiful mix, surrounded by an ancient landscape of family owned vineyard and villa, these beautifully integrated modern lodgings pull inspiration from the natural elements surrounding it and were impeccably designed by Andrea. They have every amenity, an amazing kitchen, beautiful baths, a fireplace and incredible views. Only a short cab ride into Siena if you don’t have a car and situated in a wonderful location for day trips if you do.
Andrea was a wonderful host, taking us on a private tour of his family's estate and sharing facts about it’s history and the family’s organic wine business. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly be back!
Truly Amazing!!! While the pictures make the place look great, they truly don't even begin to do it justice!
Our host Alessandro was great and the Suite is as tranquil, luxurious, spacious, and comfortable as we could have imagined - A perfect Tuscan accommodation with a beautiful view of the moon rising over the vineyard!
We had a lovely stay, Andrea was very accommodating and gave us a beautiful tour of the original villa. It is only short walk down to a beautiful little restaurant called La Piccarda. Would definitely and hopefully a tay again!
Absolutely fantastic! Andrea is the best host you can wish for. The organic architecture aesthetics and elegant thought out details of the guesthouse are complete with the serene surroundings of pastoral scenery. Add a bottle of Di Geggiano Reserve - and you got yourself a piece of real paradise. Andrea was kind enough to show us the villa and the garden - quite an experience, definitely one for the books.
There is a nice restaurant 2 mins away in Ponte a Bazzone, called La Piccarda - nice food, not expensive, stuff is very friendly. Although for us the best meal would be to drive over to Siena and shop for some local fresh food at Coop (the one by the train station - 10 mins drive) and eat in - the kitchen is fully equipped with.. pretty much everything you can only think of.
Andrea, thank you very much for your hospitality!
Good luck with the restaurant in London - we will do our best to make it to the opening.
We have enjoyed every minute of our 6 day's stay in Geggiano. It is simly too good to be true...
- perfect setting and plenty of space inside as well as in the garden
- most kind host and outstanding service.
- most beautiful modern designed interiour within a well maintained and restored acient shell.
- unexpected but highly appreciated extra's such as welcome basket with fruit and bread, bottle of Geggiano Classic Chianty and daily cleaning of room and bathroom
To put things in a nutshell: this place is a little "Garden of Eden" and I highly recommend it to whoever appreciates quality and service!
The Villa di Geggiano is an amazing experience, and a destination unto itself. The guest house is a remarkable piece of modern architecture that blends in completely with the property, which is almost 500 years old! Beautiful, comfortable and with a gracious and knowledgeable host - the Villa is everything we could have hoped for as we cleansed our palate after a few days in the bustling crowds of Venice. Andrea took us on a tour of the main house, and it was a completely unique experience. Imagine staying in a modern guest house just a stone's throw from an Italian villa that has literally not been altered since the middle 1700's and you'll get the picture. A treasure, and not to be missed!
Thank you very much for your fantastic review, meeting you and your wife has been a pleasure and I am really glad to see that you have perfectly captured the soul of Villa di Geggiano.
I hope we'll see again in the future, in Tuscany or in California in occasion of one of my wine promotion trips.
All the best and thanks again!
Wow, talk about a perfect ending to our trip to Italy! Villa di Geggiano is an amazing place and an experience in itself. The guest house is not exactly as described - it's even better. It's modern, has everything one could possibly need, and daily cleaning is provided. Its location is also great, pretty close to Siena and very convenient to explore Tuscany. Andrea and his brother Alessandro are the owners and received us in a most welcoming way, giving us valuable tips and a private tour of the property - they were even kind enough to make restaurant reservations for us. I must say we also really enjoyed their wines and even took some home. We get the feeling that we had a much better experience there than we would have staying in an agriturismo or regular hotel. I really can't recommend Villa di Geggiano enough, and the only fault I can find with my stay there is that it wasn't longer.

Hello, I am Andrea, Villa di Geggiano has been the family home and winery of my family, the Bianchi Bandinelli, since 1527.
The Villa is just six kilometres north-east of Siena, its facade looks out onto the enchanting hills of Chianti Classico, a region of Italy world famous for its wines, natural beauty and rich history.
It was originally built in the 14th century and the gardens together with the interiors have been completely renovated and restored at the end of 18th century .
The Bandinelli family continue to manage the Villa and the precious surrounding vineyards and have recently opened two luxury guest suites to holiday visitors wanting to savour the real Tuscan lifestyle.
The Bianchi Bandinelli family welcome visitors as their personal guests and can reserve an array of exclusive entertainment including wine tastings, cultural events, guided tours, private parties and ceremonies.
The Villa has been declared a National Heritage and, in addition to tours of the Villa and it’s gardens, there are a range of activities, events and services nearby, available to visitors during their stay. A long or short visit to the Villa di Geggiano guarantees enjoyment, whether taking a stroll through the century-old cypresses of the landscaped gardens, dining by candle-light, sampling one of our 40,000 bottles of organic wine produced each year.
We can help you in arranging activities like playing tennis, horse riding, or exploring the Tuscan countryside by bicycle, balloon or classic car – the choice is yours.
In nearby Siena, Italy’s classic medieval city, there is an abundance of things to do including the famous Il Palio, a festival and horse race that takes place on the piazza itself and was featured in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
Take a look around our site, fall in love with our elegant home and book your visit with us today. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you to our 16th-century villa.
