Flamingo Social Club is a revitalized two-bedroom home designed by local interior designer Rae Rockwell Studio, with a boutique hotel feel and photo opportunities inside and out. It sits on 5 private acres in Flamingo Heights, next to large tracts of open desert with no immediate neighbors. Outside are a hot tub by an outdoor Malm fireplace, a cowboy tub with a daybed, a fire pit, a covered patio, a custom swing set and a boat dock with boats to lounge in. It suits couples and small groups of up to four.

The six-person hot tub sits beside an outdoor propane Malm fireplace, ideal for sunrise and sunset soaks. Cool off in the cowboy tub, which has a daybed next to it and is not an in-ground pool. Gather at the fire pit, grill on the propane BBQ and eat on the covered patio. A custom pink and yellow swing set adds some fun, and the boat dock is a platform for watching sunrises and sunsets; lie back in the boats to stargaze. Miles of open desert surround the property.

The living room, kitchen and dining room flow together around an electric mid-century Malm fireplace. Put a record on the record player or use the Bluetooth speaker, and settle in with board games and books.
-Kitchen and Dining-
The freshly remodeled kitchen has new appliances, including a stainless steel gas stove, and is stocked with spices, olive oil, utensils and cookware. There is a drip coffee machine and French press, with coffee, sugar, creamer and a variety of teas provided. Eat inside or on the covered patio, where the propane BBQ is.
-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
Both bedrooms have a queen bed. The primary bedroom has a smart TV and a desk. The bathroom has earthy tile, limewash walls and a rain shower.
-Surrounding Area-
Flamingo Heights has some of the best restaurants and bars in the area just minutes away, including La Copine and Giant Rock Meeting Room (about 2 minutes) and the Copper Room (about 10 minutes). Pioneertown, a 1940s western movie set turned working town, is about 15 minutes away, and Joshua Tree National Park offers hiking, rock climbing and desert scenery.

-Cowboy Tub-
The pool at Flamingo Social Club is a cowboy tub, not an in-ground pool. It stays open all year, and in winter it makes a cold plunge. Bring your own ice if you'd like the water even colder!
-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
The cowboy tub and hot tub are serviced Tuesdays and Fridays, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.
-Pet Policy-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $1000. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability and our cleaning schedule.
-Late Check-out-
Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.
-Check-out Tasks-
Before you leave, please wash any dirty dishes or load and start the dishwasher, place used towels on the bathroom floor, leave used beds unmade, turn off all lights, check for personal items, and lock all doors and windows. No other cleaning or trash removal is required unless noted elsewhere in this listing.
-Lost and Found-
Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address.
-Quiet Hours-
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep voices and music at a respectful level outdoors at all times, and turn off all music, including portable and vehicle audio, during quiet hours. Guests are responsible for any noise fines, and a minimum $1000 fine applies to any noise citation.
-Smoking-
Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, vapes and cannabis, is not permitted inside the home. Outdoor smoking must be at least 20 feet from doors and windows, and all smoking materials must be fully put out and thrown away. Evidence of indoor smoking will result in smoke-removal charges and a $1000 fee.
-Visitors-
Only guests listed on the reservation may stay at or visit the property unless we approve it in advance, and the total number of people on the property may not exceed the listing's maximum occupancy. Please message us before inviting any visitors.
-Parking-
Please park only in the driveway or other designated parking areas on the property. Street parking is not permitted and may result in fines.
-Restricted Areas-
Any locked closet, room or storage area on the property is reserved for rental supplies and is off limits to guests. Guests may be held responsible for damage or missing items if a locked area is entered.
-Hot Tub and Cowboy Tub Care-
Please shower before using the hot tub and cowboy tub, and do not add bath products, oils or bubble bath to the water. Glass is not permitted in or near the water, and pets are not allowed in it. Please keep covers in place whenever the water is not in use. Please avoid using the hot tub right after it has been serviced, while chemical levels are temporarily higher. Misuse that requires extra cleaning, draining or reheating will be charged to the guest, and leaving a cover off may result in a servicing fee of at least $100.
-Photoshoots and Events-
Events, parties, weddings, photoshoots, filming and other commercial use of the property are not permitted without our written approval in advance. If you would like to use the home for a photoshoot or production, please message us before booking, as additional fees apply. Unauthorized commercial activity may result in a penalty of up to $10,000 and termination of the reservation without refund.
