Welcome to The Cabin at Travers Cattle Company! Come enjoy a real-life ranch experience. This quaint and quiet retreat is spacious with horse stall rentals available and parking for trailers.
Need more room? Reserve "The Barndominium" or "The RV Hookup" , "Room 1 or 2" as well for a shared stay with friends or family.
Both are located on the hub of our working ranch alongside our workshop.
Enjoy peaceful scenery, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, or take time to explore the ranch around you.
The space
Come enjoy 120 acres of rolling hills, five stock tanks, and abundant wildlife. You may spot deer, turkey, dove, owls, coyotes, ducks, wild hogs, and even the occasional bald eagle. Expect a quiet, peaceful, and friendly country setting.
The Cabin features an open living room and kitchen area. There is no stove or oven, as our goal is to keep things simple, but guests have access to a toaster, microwave, outdoor gas grill, and an open-flame wood grill for cooking.
The bedroom includes a comfortable queen-size bed and closet. The private bathroom also has a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience.
We provide a few complimentary snacks and breakfast items, including breakfast bars, oatmeal, popcorn, and Keurig coffee with creamer.
Guest access
Check-in is at 3:00 PM.
Guests are welcome to roam and enjoy the 120 acres, including fishing in the five ponds. Weather permitting, you can also relax at the shared fire pit area, picnic table, and outdoor gas grill.
Please note that this is the hub of a working ranch, so you may see horses, cows, dogs, trailers, and farm equipment coming and going from time to time. For safety, we kindly ask guests to avoid direct interaction with the animals and farm equipment.
Other things to note
NO pets due to owners extreme allergies and asthma
ADULTS and REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. No children. No additional visitors, or guests beyond those that are included in the reservation.
NO early check in or late check out options
NO SMOKING or Vaping in or around the property.
NO WIFI
NO TV

The Homestead, our main home is also on the 120 acres, across the pasture. Despite our house and the Barndiminium on the property, you will be plenty surprised by the privacy and peacefulness of the ranch!
