Mark was an incredible host, his place was neat and cosy and he provided a spare heater for the cold weather. On our first night he kindly drove us into town and recommended a great place to eat. The area around his house is beautiful, with scenic walking trails and a beach. The walk into town was about half an hour but very pleasant even on a brisk night. Would definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Kinsale.
Room was fantastic!! Kinsale was amazzzzingly beautiful. The walk from the apartment to the town is a bit far but definitely manageable and beautiful.
Our stay with Mark was AMAZING! Mark showed us around Kinsale, explained any doubts we had, recommended us some nice restaurants and gave us some historic background from the city. All and all, he was the best!
The house is in a very nice location with a nice pub nearby, which we had a pleasure to visit and have a beer with our great host. The room and bathroom were clean and comfy, truly a very welcoming place to stay.
Mark was a great host! He was easy to communicate with, gave us good advice about things to do in Kinsale and provided comfortable rooms for us in his lovely home. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night! Thanks for having us Mark.
Mark was very accommodating. He was insightful about the towns history and was eager to show us around. We hung out with him a few times at the local pubs which was very fun. We had booked his place planning on going into Cork during the day but ended up staying in Kinsale the whole time. There are plenty of things to do in the town, including hiking and exploring the coast/beach.
Mark was very welcoming. The house is warm and comfortable, the same as in the pictures. We enjoyed our stay in Kinsale and the day of our departure he drove us in town, showed us Kinsale from the top of the hill and where we could take the bus. He suggested us many places to visit and one of the most famous restaurant in Kinsale. Strongly recommended as host :) Thanks Mark!
Mark was very welcoming. He is an excellent host and great company! He really made us feel at home. He was kind enough to pick us up from the town center and gave us a wonderful tour of Kinsale showing us the great historical locations, pubs, restaurants, cafes and clubs to listen to good music during the evening. The house is located just off the shore immediately behind a very nice pub. The weather was wonderful with plenty of sunshine while we were there; therefore we had long morning walks and an excellent view of the ocean and the cliffs. We will definitely go back there. Thank you Mark for great time!!!
