Clean room at a lovely and quiet location, extra heater provided in case it got too chilly for our taste. Mark was very welcoming and gave us useful advice on the closer area as well as pointers on the restaurants in Kinsale. Sadly, we only stayed one night, leaving us with too little time to actually have more than a very short welcoming chat with him.
Our stay with Mark was amazing! We arrived later than expected and he was still so accommodating and happy to help us. He actually invited us to stay with him and meet his friends in the pub or he said he could show us right to our room. Because we came to Ireland to experience the culture and meet the amazing people we happily excepted. This has been the best night of our trip so far. When we made it back to his flat everything was clean and ready for us. In the morning Mark gave us some pointers and invited us to take advantage of the amazing beach behind his flat. It was beautiful and we already miss our wonderful host.
Wonderful place to stay a night at. The rooms are clean and spacious. Mark is very friendly and advised us a pub where we can catch soccer match. The area around the house is very nice too, with direct access to a small beach and to old fort nearby, where we had our afternoon walk. I would recommend others to stay at Mark's place.
Mark was an incredible host, his place was neat and cosy and he provided a spare heater for the cold weather. On our first night he kindly drove us into town and recommended a great place to eat. The area around his house is beautiful, with scenic walking trails and a beach. The walk into town was about half an hour but very pleasant even on a brisk night. Would definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Kinsale.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with Mark at his place, located conveniently a stones throw away from the ruins of James Fort, across the bay from the main town of Kinsale (only a few minutes drive). Mark was a great host with lots of helpful advice about what to see, do and eat around the area. He was also charming and friendly company. He provided us with comfy beds, warm rooms and a relaxed atmosphere.
Room was fantastic!! Kinsale was amazzzzingly beautiful. The walk from the apartment to the town is a bit far but definitely manageable and beautiful.
Our stay with Mark was AMAZING! Mark showed us around Kinsale, explained any doubts we had, recommended us some nice restaurants and gave us some historic background from the city. All and all, he was the best!
The house is in a very nice location with a nice pub nearby, which we had a pleasure to visit and have a beer with our great host. The room and bathroom were clean and comfy, truly a very welcoming place to stay.
