  • Mark is a marvelous host: kind, generous, smart. It's been a true honor to meet him and be his guest. I've had a wonderful experience here with my family. The house is clean, accessible and very quiet. The environment is peaceful and absolutely beautiful!!

  • We had a really lovely stay! Mark was kind and welcoming, and we felt right t home. He lives a 20 minute walk away from the center of Kinsale, a picturesque small town. Because we were cycling to Kinsale, our arrival time was a bit up in the air, but Mark was very gracious and accommodating. He also gave us good recommendations for places to eat in Kinsale. Our rooms were great, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. I would gladly stay there again!

  • Kinsale is a charming city to visit. We were there for just one night, arriving late in the day and leaving early the next morning. The directions for arriving to the Mark's home were right on. The location is very nice. Mark was helped with a suggestion for dinner and we did have a tasty, good dinner. We only saw Mark briefly as he had plans for the evening and we did not see him in the morning.

  • Mark was a great host with a beautiful home in a really convenient area of Kinsale. He met us right away to show us in and great recommendations for food and places to visit.

  • While we think Mark is a fine host and appreciate his research and help on places to visit...his place a separate property fenced off from a public beach that was somewhat disgusting (lots of trash). Seems a bit misleading to highlight the beach for this property. I would highlight the Castle behind the property - a far more exciting aspect. We loved it.
The residence is basic, clean and in an interesting area of Cork County.

  • Mark was an ideal host. The location is gorgeous and he made us feel right at home! I would recommend to anyone. Kinsale is right across the harbor and it's a spectacular town!

  • Mark was a nice and welcoming host. The location is great, but probably more suitable for people with a car, as it's not in the center of town and there is no place close to have dinner. But Mark drove us into town a few times and made us shakes in the morning!

  • Kinsale is a quaint little town. This room is on the other side of the water and not in the center of town. For us, this was not ideal, we prefer to me in the center of it all. Maybe you prefer the quiet side where you have to drive to town, if so this could work better for you.

The room was very small, two twins (who knew) no place to put and open our luggage, the skylight blind was torn and did not work so the light steams into the room in the early morning and the room could have been cleaner. We were told the bathroom was private, but it had personal products and used towels ...

    The host was nice.

  • Mark was warm and welcoming, informing us of all the great places to see around kinsale. We had 2 rooms which were clean and very cute. We had access to the whole house and couldn't ask for a better host!

  • Mark's place is basic but comfortable and clean. A perfect place to lay your head after a long day at the Kinsale Sevens ;) Less than a 5-min cab (€8) from the centre of Kinsale, Mark's place is ideal if you don't want to be in the centre of town especially during the Sevens weekend. As a host Mark was communicative and access to the property was easy. Recommend if you're in the area.
