I invite you to stay at my condo and experience Austin the way it was meant to be experienced! Downtown - as in "DOWNTOWN", modern, 2BR, pool, balcony, parking,...
I am leasing my personal condo in the heart of Downtown Austin. Place sleeps 4 very comfortably, up to 6 are possible.
You simply cannot find a more convenient downtown location. You are literary surrounded by restaurants, bars and venues.
This modern 2-Bedroom condo is in excellent like-new condition. It has been recently fully remodeled and updated with stained concrete and hard-wood floors, concrete countertops, stainless steel Bosch appliances, new furniture... just to name a few examples.
LIVING: An open living area features a very comfortable sleeper sofa accommodating 2 additional guest. Cable TV and wireless internet will keep you entertained should the weather keep you (website hidden) & EATING: A fully equipped kitchen is available for your use. Pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware... anything you can think of to prepare a gourmet dinner.
A large center island seats four. A custom wine rack may also come in handy.
SLEEPING: There are two bedrooms with a queen bed each. One bedroom has a firm memory foam mattress, the other a medium standard mattress. Floor rugs accent the acacia hard wood floors.
A twin air mattress and a hammock on the balcony will each sleep an additional person :)
BATHING: A "Jack & Jill" bathroom offers a private sink and toilet area for each bedroom. A tub/shower area is shared by both.
You will have access to the entire condo as well as a gated parking space. The swimming pool is open daily 10am to 10pm.
Interaction with Guests
I will be available to personally check you in and out. Other than that, you can reach me on my phone, e-mail, or (website hidden) should you have any questions or requests. I can also arrange for additional housekeeping services for longer stays if requested.
You simply cannot find a more convenient downtown location. This is NOT "a short cab ride away..." or "minutes from...". You are literary surrounded by restaurants, bars and venues, yet facing away from 4th street allowing for relative peace and quiet when you need to relax.
- 2 blocks from historical 6th Street
- 2 blocks from Congress Avenue
- 2 blocks from the Warehouse District
- 1 block from the Austin Convention Center
- 4 blocks from Lady Bird Lake
- 1/2 mi from the Texas Capitol
- 3/4 mi from Whole Foods
- Airport shuttle stops in front of the building... 30 min to airport for $1.50
- 1 block to Light Rail Downtown stop
- 1 to 2 blocks to dozens of buses
- Pedicabs are probably the best way to get around downtown during busy event dates (a bit pricey though)
- Car2Go, ZipCar and other car sharing programs available in Austin with designated parking spots within 1-2 blocks

Check-in and check-out times can be flexible if agreed on in advance. Please contact me to verify availability and pricing as displayed calendar may not always be current. Standard rates and minimum length of stay do not apply to "event dates" - e.g. SXSW, ACL, F1, etc.
LICENSES & REGISTRATION:
Please note that this listing is one of few fully licensed and registered with the City of Austin. Meaning meeting all building codes and safety requirements. More importantly, you don't have to worry about last minute reservation cancellations or listing retractions.

Please note that this property is my personal home that I rent occasionally - unlike many other full-time rental properties at the Railyard Condominiums.
You are welcome to help your self to food in the pantry or refrigerator. All I ask is that you re-fill what you use.

Please note that this is a condo located in a residential complex... meaning please be courteous to your neighbors. Loud partying is not allowed. Sorry - no exceptions.
There are few other rather common-sense rules (courtesy of our HOA). A printed copy will be available at check-in.
