We have our small and cozy guesthouse in San Martin de los Andes, Argentina. We opened in July 2010.
San Martin de los Andes is located at 650 m altitude at the edge of the Andes in the beautiful Lake District in the north of Patagonia, close to the National Park Nahuel Huapi and Lanin, and only 65 km to the border with Chile.
The area offers nature lovers an infinite number of destinations. Many of these locations offer magnificent views of Lanin volcano.
Midsummer arrives in January and February, but nearly all year round outdoor activities are possible.
The ski season starts in late June and continues until mid-September . San Martin de los Andes, with its own mountain Chapelco is one of the top 5 ski resorts in South America.
Get to know us. We look forward to seeing you.

Hermosa casa, ubicacion perfecto, desayuno ricisimo, un gusto conocer a Melanie!
Gorgeous house, bedrooms and bathroom lovely, perfect location (in the woods, but easy walk to town), a pleasure to meet the hostess Melanie!
Thank you so much for our time with you. It was a very specials time and we enjoyed discovering your town a bit more.
We did the hike up to the lookout and found it quite breathtaking. The folks in the village were a delight and we had a little fun with them too
We did finish our 3 hours of hiking and fun at Ku and finally got our feast of Argentinian beef. Thanks for the endorsement. Hope your daughter's birthday party was a smashing success!
Thank you again for everything. May send a pic of two when the dust settles.
Refugio melingo es una casa linda, limpia, bien temperada y con una vista hermosa a los bosques de San Martin. El desayuno es muy rico y la anfitriona y su familia son muy amables. Totalmente recomendado.
We had a lovely two days here, very restful and beautiful location. Melanie made the best breakfast of our whole trip! We would definitely recommend staying here, it's close to town but much more peaceful to stay outside the center.
The hosts are one of the warmest germans I've known, they welcomed me into their home for a 10-night stay, staying professional and corteous all along. The living and dining room are really cozy and became my reading room. The room I was sleeping at was new, clean and roomy, and had accessibility features. Overall the house has a very good atmosphere, a reflect of the hostess passion for Zen practices. The host also happens to be an MTB tour guide, and is truly passionate about it. I strongly recommend a car if you're not into walking, since it's a good 15-20min walk to the city center. Oh and the bread is home-baked every morning, another of the hosts passion, so it can't get any fresher.
