The Space

This newly renovated top floor apartment has stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty that will blow you away the moment you walk in.

The unique wooden dinner table comfortably sits ten people, the open plan living room has a working fireplace and insanely comfortable couch, with wifi and full cable on demand.

The kitchen is modern and spacious, fitted with every cooking utensil and device you can possibly imagine.

The bedroom has a king size bed, plenty of wardrobe space and lovely vistas of the beautiful Brooklyn neighborhood, Cobble Hill. There's also plenty of space in the living room for a queen size air bed which is available for use.

The bathroom is clean and nicely finished, with storage space (website hidden) of all, this fully modernized 1830s house is on a tree-lined block in a historic district, with all amenities yards from the front door, and some of Brooklyn's best restaurants and bars just a stone's throw away. Subway is a short walk, making this your perfect base for a relaxing long weekend - or week-long stay - in New York.

  • This place is better than pictures reflect and Patricia is amazing. The location is excellent as Cobble Hill is one of best areas of Brooklyn. Even the three story walk up the stairs is worth it! Book now. You won't regret it.

  • Beautiful and clean apartment, it was actually cleaner than some hotels we've stayed at. The neighbourhood was ideal, walkable and felt quite like home. We were easily able to travel to and from Manhattan, and found some great little local places to eat and shop at. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a week away in New York.

Patricia was very easy to communicate with, and provided great, helpful insights and recommendations that enhanced our stay. For our first AirBnB stay we I don't think we would've found a better first place.

  • This amazing apartment lives up to its billing. It has easy access to everything you'd want in the city, but offers a quiet escape after a long day. Patricia was wonderful to work with - we'd definitely stay again!

  • I only have great things to say!

This was my first airbnb experience and it was really wonderful! The place was beautiful, big and was incredibly clean. The interior design and decoration were so well done. It really added to the whole New Year's Eve in New York experience. The neighbourhood also had lots to offer and it was close to the subway.

Communication leading up to the stay went smoothly and clearly. Everything was very straightforward and we felt instantly comfortable when we arrived.

I would definitely recommend this experience going forward!!

  • Thanks, Patricia, for a great stay!

The apartment is just as advertized and far more spacious than I had anticipated. We enjoyed having access to a kitchen with adequate counter space for preparing holiday meals and even managed to fit five adults for a portion of the visit with the use of her air mattress.

The location is wonderful; we found a grocery store, several restaurants, and general shopping within a short walk. The subway is nearby, but there are also a reasonably-priced car service within a few blocks that makes trips to out-of-the-way destinations more convenient.

  • What a great first experience with Airbnb! Patricia was responsive and incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the process. She was also great about accommodating our travel schedules, allowing us to leave our bags in her home until Sunday afternoon so that we could take the later flight out of NYC. Her apartment is just as amazing as it looks in the pictures (if not more so)! It was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and completely up to date with all new appliances in the kitchen. The setup is great for entertaining (I'm obsessed with the table!), and the views of lower Manhattan are breathtaking (check out the view from the bedroom window). It is a walkup, but totally worth a few extra stairs for the view! The high ceilings and windows in the living room allow tons of natural light into the room, which I love. The king size bed is very comfortable, and a huge plus. We also felt very safe there since the front door to the building locks in the evening.

Now, on to the neighborhood... I have always preferred Brooklyn to Manhattan, but staying in Cobble Hill just sent my love over the top! On our first day there we decided to stay around the neighborhood and check out some of the local restaurants and bars, and we were beyond impressed! Patti's apartment is only a short walk from Atlantic Avenue, where we found a variety of watering holes serving local brews (we're from NC, we love craft beer) and reasonably priced food. There's also a great wine shop and corner market where you can pick up your necessities. We stopped for dinner at a small Italian place on Henry Street called Bocca Lupo, our meal was delicious and very reasonably priced. The tree-lined streets are well lit and we always felt safe walking. And if you do feel the need to venture into Manhattan, the Bergen Street subway station is just a few blocks away.

All in all, everything was amazing and I would highly recommend Patricia's place to anyone wanting to experience the best of Brooklyn. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

  • Patricia is amazing! I needed a place for my mother and best friend to stay while they were in town visiting. Patricia was more than accommodating and let me view the apartment before we booked. She also worked with me to find a convenient time to do the key pickup/drop-off. Her apartment is beyond adorable and located in a safe and quiet residential area. My mother was able to stay in the huge king sized bed (which trust me, is a rare find in NYC) and my friend used the blow up mattress. They both had tons of space and this apartment beats an overpriced, cramped and boring hotel room any day of the week.

All in all, we are totally thrilled with our airbnb and experience and will definitely do it again.
