The Neighborhood

The district of San Pablo is located 20 minutes far from the city center. This (email hidden)ly district, low houses, quiet and safe, very convenient for its variety of local shops and supermarkets and especially its tapas bars with terraces. For whatever you may need, you also have shopping centers within walking distance.

In the surrounding area you can enjoy the Buhaira Gardens, a green area with a Moroccan style in which to enjoy the cool shade of the trees. Just next to the Gardens of Murillo, and already close to downtown you must try the superb homemade ice cream parlor of Villar, they are unique!

Getting around

Getting to the city center is quite convenient and fast: 20 min by foot, 15 min by public bus and 10 min by bike. Getting to other areas of the city and outside Seville is also easy because you're close to: bus stops, metro, public bicycle parking, and also quick access to the railway station of Santa Junta (4 minute walk). Seville Airport is just 15 min by bus.

Other Things to Note

For those who do not know Sevilla, the best time to enjoy it is spring, but this wonderful city is known for its great weather all year round, for the friendliness of its people and for its unique art, culture and history in Andalusia. The cradle of Flamenco and Sevillanas, Seville is an emblem of culture and a historic monument.

If your stay is long enough, you can always go for a day trip to visit the beautiful cities of Cádiz and Córboda by train. Easy, fast and very convenient!

  • I stayed with Javier for one night only. He provided me with lots of useful info to help me find his place, and was incredibly welcoming when I arrived. Javier's place is full of character, impeccably clean and in a great location. Javier was very friendly and an interesting person to stay with. Thanks for having me!

  • My wife and I stayed at Xavier's place in Seville for two days and we must say we had a lovely time. Xavier is an incredibly friendly, accommodating and generous host. His place was extremely well kept and almost felt like home. The fact that Xavier speaks such good English and is so well informed was an added advantage. We had some very interesting conversations. He guided us on things to do and places to eat at in Seville. His leads were very useful and we are especially grateful for him directing us to La Casa del Flamenco for a really nice and reasonably priced Flamenco performance. I would highly recommend Xavier's place to anyone who wants a nice place to stay at in Seville. It's located very close to the main train station and is a short bus ride away from all the major tourist attractions. After a long and tiring day of sight-seeing you can unwind with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee at Xavier's patio which even has mood lighting for effect! And if you are a movie buff, Xavier will allow you to watch flicks from his extensive DVD collection. Thanks Xavier for the great time and we would love to meet you on our next trip to Spain or if you ever happen to visit India.

  • We liked: the location, the patio, the ambience in the house, the cleanness of everything

We liked less: the bed (people with back problems might have problems there), that smoking is allowed on the patio.

Conclusion: perfect for a short stay

    Response from Javier:

Remy, just a quick reply to your evaluation: by booking you already accepted all the features of the apartment, including that smoking is allowed in the patio! So it doesn't make too much sense evaluating something you have accepted in the first place! Also, I have back problems and actually the best place for me to sleep is in that very matress!
    Thank you!

  • We stayed overnight with Javier, taking advantage of the excellent location, near the train station. Javier provided an airport pick up which worked exceptionally well. The property was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and Javier hosting was first class. We thoroughly recommend this property and Javier.

  • The flat is very close to the trainstation and some shops. It is extremely clean and well organized. The colourful patio has the same size as the flat and offers a wonderful chill-out zone in the morning for breakfast and in the evening to relax after a tiring visit of Sevilla. Javier is very friendly and helpful planing your stay in his city. We talked about everything and he even explained us his plants outside and we could use his washing machine. On the last day he even went to the bookshop to print out our boarding pass! The city-centre can be reached by bus or you walk about 25 minutes. We even found a parking place in front of the house. I can highly recommend his bed and the best breakfast we had in 3 weeks in Andalusia. Thanks a lot, Javier!!!

¡Hola! [ENGLISH] Hi there! I'm Javier, I was born in Seville, I am 36 years old and I am a biologist. I live with the charming company of Tana, a very funny, well mannered and clean dog that you'll love when you meet her. I like to know other countries and peoples, one of the two reasons why I signed up in Airbnb as a host. The other reason is that I like people to enjoy the place where and the way I live. I'm an unconventional Sevillian, always between the city and the mountains. I am not an enthusiast of Easter or bullfights, but I love going out for tapas during the day or night and enjoy the little areas of my city with my friends. I also enjoy spending weekends in the mountains, and I love movies, music, diving, eating Andalusian and foreign cuisine, and travel to see new places and people. And don't worry, I will be at your disposal during your stay, I'll give you a hand with the organization of your city tours or other areas and provinces of Andalusia. Please do not hesitate in asking for any help you might need!
