Bev and her husband were wonderful hosts. They greeted us with smiles and offered us the perfect blend of Yorkshire tea on our arrival. The room is lovely as well - true privacy, blackout curtains and a bed so comfortable you'll be tempted to sleep half the day away. A highly recommended home away from home.
We stayed at Bev and Kevin's for one night in October 2014.
The listing and pictures were very accurate and we were made feel very welcome. The house is very clean and nicely decorated and it is located in a lovely area very close to Scarborough.
We can recommend Bev's place in 100% and we would definitely stay there again :)
Bev made me feel most welcome and was so helpful when arranging my visit. I was delighted to be supplied with a much needed cup of tea on arrival and sent away with a good breakfast and supplies on departure. Great room and bathroom at the front of the house gives a great balance between privacy (and not intruding) and being part of the place. Easy walk from the station. Heartily recommend, thank you.
Wonderful room. Very stylish, well decorated and tidy. Looks even better than the photos. Bev very friendly and helpful host. It was very pleasant to be in her house.
What a lovely couple!.. Both Bev and her husband Kevin made us feel very welcome by offering a lovely cup of tea upon arrival!.. They made us feel at home and gave us plenty of suggestions for our day trips.
We were pleasantly surprised at how much space we had....We had a large double room with separate bathroom and also a little private sitting room with TV.. All decorated tastefully and homely. We would definitely recommend staying with Bev and Kevin.. Such lovely people and a peaceful nights sleep.
What a wonderful experience for my first bnb stay. Bev is a lovely, intelligent, kind and attentative host who was more than willing to allow us space ( but we chose to spend time with them as they are lovely interesting company). The standard of the room and privacy afforded was excellent. The location is magnificent, just outside town but making the east coast so accessible. Everything you want is on your doorstep. A perfect 10!
Bev and Kevin were wonderfully warm and welcoming during our stay in Scarborough. The room is beautiful and the location perfect for exploring the Yorkshire coast. Highly recommend this bnb.
