Thank you James for being a wonderfully gracious host. The cottage was comfortable and well appointed. It was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation.
Very nice and comfortable cottage with lots of privacy. Thanks for the nice stay :)
We had a very nice time in the mountshannoncottage.
The cottage was warm and cosy. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape and the lake at a 4 minutes walk. We can recommend anyone to stay over there.
James had supplied everything we needed as well as turf for the open fire.
We had such a lovely time in Ireland - James' cottage was the perfect base for a few days exploring County Clare. We felt very comfortable and well-provided for, and really appreciated James' recommendations about activities too.
James' cottage was perfect for our needs, visiting family in East Clare. It was clean, neat & tidy, with a very comfortable double bed, as well as a single bed for a child. There was also a laundry with washer & dryer, very important for travellers in a country where it often rains. Be aware that if you don't have a car, it could be difficult to get to, as it is a kilometre to the nearest village. The surrounding countryside is beautiful & well worth a visit. The quiet solitude was just what we wanted. Thank you James for providing a wonderful place to stay.

We had a lovely time in James' cottage. We used it as a base to travel around and it proved perfect.
James is a very friendly and welcoming host, and apart from the cottage being cold the first night we thought our whole Mountshannon experience was really good.
