James was a great host. The place wad beautiful and comfortable. Just outside of Scarriff and a 10 minute walk to the lake, this place is an ideal quiet relaxing escape. Jim gave us tips on local haunts and he was spot on.

The cottage was a great place to stay! This was my first experience with airbnb and it was very welcoming! We opened the mini fridge to an adorable little set up with bread, butter and cream which was very thoughtful and appreciated. My boyfriend and I picked it because of its convenient location in the middle of everything we wanted to do/see. We did not spend much time in the cottage besides sleeping etc, but can imagine it would have been great to do so with the fireplace or outdoor patio. (we had a short stay so tried to see as much as we could and didn't allow for much leisure unfortunately). The area is absolutely beautiful right by the lake and right outside a town center with places to eat and things to do. Great stay!

James was a wonderful host! He built us a fire for nights and fitted the beds with electric blankets (so cozy). We had a little trouble mapping our routes, but he offered us help and had several pamphlets to show what we could do in the area. He also left us bread, cereal, coffee, tea, and fruit for breakfast. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
