A cozy old farmhouse in the UP. Less than an hour from Houghton, the Porcupine Mountains, and the Ottawa National Forest.

The space
We currently have availability for all of snowmobile season! Book today!

Located just outside of Mass City, this 3 bedroom family-friendly farmhouse sleeps up to 9 if you don't mind bunking up together, and up to 5 if you do. Just 30+ minutes from the Porcupine Mountains, the Ottawa National Forest, many Michigan state parks and campgrounds, and Houghton/Hancock, Grandma Patty's House is perfect for your UP vacation.

Guest access
All ground and second floor areas of the house are yours to access, as is the yard. The back 9 rustic acres are off limits, as are all outbuildings and the basement.

Other things to note
Grandma Patty's House is a great place to have a rural get-away. It is also a old, rustic farmhouse that comes with all the plusses and minuses of old rural farmhouses. It's named what it is because, until a couple of years ago, it really was a grandmother's house. One that was loved, but also not particularly updated or changed for years. In other words, it's not a quaint picture perfect guest house full of modern amenities. It's just a cozy, welcoming house.
