This home, constructed in the early 1900’s, was the original farmhouse to this farm property. When the ski area opened in 1970, the dairy barn was converted to the existing lodge and the house was sold.
The farmhouse was purchased by Mount Pleasant in 2023.
The Mount Pleasant House has 6 bedrooms. Between the six bedrooms, the House comfortably sleeps 10 people.
Three bedrooms have Queen beds and two have twins. One has a trundle bed, sleeping two.
There are several sofa beds as well.

#1 BRIDAL ROOM.
This romantic room features a Queen-sized bed, full-length mirror, and
handy garment rack. The serene décor immediately relaxes an anxious guest.

#2 BLACK AND WHITE ROOM.
One wallpapered accent wall defines this peaceful retreat, featuring a
queen-sized bed, a closet, and a mirror. The “Single, North” bedroom can be
accessed from this room.

#3 SINGLE, NORTH ROOM.
This single bed can be accessed from the BLACK AND WHITE ROOM.
A small desk and mirror complete this comfy room.

#4 SINGLE SOUTH ROOM.
Across the hall from the SINGLE, NORTH ROOM is this single-bed room
featuring a chest of drawers, a mirror, and a portable clothes rack. Both “single” bedrooms are decorated in adorable toile bedding.

#5 SKIING DOG ROOM.
You won’t stop smiling when you stay in this room. This room features a
trundle bed, in which the bottom bed can be pulled out, sleeping two. The décor features man’s best friend anxiously awaiting a day on the slopes with you! A single dresser and mirror complete this light-hearted retreat.

#6 THE LAKE ROOM.
This room will take you back to a summer’s day by the lake. The hand-made
Queen bed is flanked by matching end tables. A nice-sized dresser topped with a mirror completes this totally unique furniture. Made for us by Casey Brown, our weekend ski school director whose business, “Willow Creek Barn Wood Furniture” has taken the reclaimed wood from the former Edinboro Marina and furnished this room. The décor reflects our love for Edinboro Lake and Lake Erie.

As a bonus - this room holds a crib and rocking chair- all setup!

LIVING ROOM #1.
The primary living room, also known as the TV room, has comfortable seating for 10 with a 55" TV. Additionally, the TV room has one single-sized pull-out sofa bed.

LIVING ROOM #2
The primary living room holds a comfortable seating area, breakfast nook, and office area. The fireplace is for aesthetics only and is not usable.

LIVING ROOM #3
Also known as the sunroom, this room will be one of your favorites! With three comfy couches, a dining table for 6, and, as it faces south, ample amounts of cozy sunshine. Additionally, the three couches double as single-sized pull-out sofa bed.

ENTRY ROOM

The entry room is a great place to take off and store your ski boots and gear.

Guest access
Guests will have unfettered access to most of the house. Three areas are isolated from guests: the basement, the office and the garage.

The Mount Pleasant House is a smoke-free and pet-free home.
