Awesome place! We loved all the different spaces both indoor and outdoor. Hosts responded quickly to questions, even over the holiday weekend. We didn't want to leave this gorgeous desert retreat!!

Perfect place to get awhile from it all. Feels like a commune, it was nice having some of the of bedrooms separate from the main house, so each guest could have more privacy. Very remote, far away from any restaurants and groceries stores, so make sure you bring everything you need. The house was pretty clean, and the beds and couches were very comfortable. My only issue with the place was it seemed to have a septic issue in the master, everyday around noon a foul smell would fill the room, other than that everything we had a great time staying here.

It's not very often these days that something is bigger and better than expected. This was the case at Raven's Landing. It's private, secluded and cozy and was than enough space for the 6 adults we had plus a few more for dinner one night. Great kitchen and living room for gathering as well as several outdoor areas including a fire pit and BBQ. The first night there was a wind/sand storm which I hear is not too uncommon and makes everything a bit dusty but you are in the desert after all! Will definitely be back.

We just completed our three night stay at Raven's Landing and fell in love with the property. The pictures of the house don't do it justice. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the decor, fixtures, and landscaping. If you are looking for a fun, comfortable, clean cabin to escape from it all, this is the place. Our crew consisted of two couples each with a 1-year old kid. Actually, the property was ideal to let the kids explore. We would hang out at the outdoor fire pit with food and drinks and watch them play with the rocks and run around. We made good use out of the nicely stocked kitchen and the plethora of outdoor spaces to relax, eat meals and star gaze. We didn't use the 3rd detached bedroom or the game room but they seemed cute and cozy. In terms of location, the property is off the beaten path so grocery shopping is a 20 min drive to the heart of Twentynine Palms and it's a 30 min drive to Joshua Tree. Although we made most of our meals at the cabin, we did venture out for lunch to the 29 Palms Inn and the Palms Restaurant, both of which I would recommend. As you consider staying here, two things to be aware of: 1) The walls are very thin, which is typical for most of the houses/cabins in the area. 2) The water comes straight from the aquifer and has an odd taste (although very clean); I would recommend bringing drinking water if that will bother you. Overall, Raven's Landing was even cuter and more comfortable than we imagined and we would definitely come back.

Ideal place to stay if you want the remote feeling of camping in the desert, close to Joshua Tree, with all of the comforts of home. This place is true to the photos, and better stocked and well organized than we could've anticipated. Open, comfortable living room (loved the labels for using the tv remote and accessing wifi), modern kitchen was fully stocked, bathroom with plenty of extra towels - even a closet stocked with basic first aid, meds, sunscreen and q-tips (I always forget those). The hot tub worked and was very clean. Lots of great sitting areas outside to take in the desert vistas, but the real highlight was the fire pit surrounded with comfy seats. We hiked in nearby Joshua Tree National Park by day and cooked and sat around the fire by night, taking in the Milky Way and shooting stars. We will definitely be back here.
