Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • I was traveling to Houston for work and wanted a place that was secure and had a kitchen, a balcony, internet access, parking, quiet, and a great view. I found all of these here! The place was fantastic and Kate responded to any of my questions quickly. All the details you would ever want to know was provided right when you book and Kate is available at any time. Additionally, I came in really late at night and the 24 hour security desk made the check-in very easy to maneuver. I would definitely come back.

  • This apartment is clean, very well equipped and complete as advertised. Kate was easy to work with and extremely responsive and clear in all interactions. Only drawback is that there is no laundry on premises which I failed to note but like to have to wash my work out clothes. There is one on the 9th floor.

  • Great apartment, simple, clean and great location! Breakfast spot right next to the lobby with a market to meet basic needs.

  • I went to Houston for FotoFest and Kate's place was in very convenient walking distance to the host hotel. Great to have free private parking spot as I had a rental car. The apartment had everything I needed including kitchen stuff for breakfast prep. The bed was really nice and I am particular about mattresses. Kate was a great communicator. The place was missing a reading lamp and alarm clock in the bedroom and Kate sent someone over right away with these items. On the con side she advertised a pool at the place and I swim every day and the pool was closed for months. There were also some maintenance issues with the place but nothing major. I would definitely stay there again.

Hi everyone! My name is Kate. I love to learn about different cultures, visit different countries, tour unique places, and most importantly taste what the world has to offer! I love to wine, dine, cook and entertain. I recently discovered AIRBNB on my last trip to Europe. When I got back home, my idea was to put my place on AIRBNB just to fill someone in while I traveled more to see the world. Well as luck has it, I've turned it into a business and now have several listings for you to choose from. I have a lot more to offer if you can commit 6 months to a year. When traveling, I love staying in unique places and sometimes I will travel just to stay in a cool place. I especially love desert homes. I recently got to see stay in one, the Desert Nomad House. Wow, that was such an amazing experience and probably the only reason I would fly out to Tucson, Arizona. A few months ago, I took a drive out to Marfa, Texas. If you're ever up to see something strange yet cool, the fake Prada store in the middle of the W Texas desert is something to see. Stay at the Thunderbird Hotel and go see the Mystery Lights - heck, I missed that last time. Maybe I'll even jump in the car and hit the road with you! I really enjoy hosting and meeting people from this site. Whenever I am free, I love showing my guests around town and my favorite restaurants/bars. Happy booking, looking forward to hosting you! Love, Kate
