My Name is Patrick and my recently given spiritual name Jai Ram Singh guides me to manifest Jai - the fearless Lion of God who overcomes all obstacles.
Since early childhood exploring and admiring Nature i early became a hopelessly lost lover of Pachamama and with this a whole heartedly partner of her.
Receiving endless teachings, gifts and blessings from her, i not only grew to become happy and healthy tenant but also a activist to protect Mother Earth.
Fortunate i grow up in an openminded, peaceful and naturally loving environment in the beautiful and cultural rich south of East Germany.
After finishing poly-technical high school, i learned the trade of a carpenter and later became an antique furniture and historical building restaurateur. Parallel i graduated in structural engineering.
As a rock climber and alpinist, i experienced a growing interest in the influence of nutrition on my performance.
Postgraduate i studied nutrition and became a dietitian and natural health and life consultant, as which i continuously serve.
Steadily bouncing between pioneering natural health awareness & education and environmental activism and nature exploration/adventure, i founded the first organic food store in my home town Dresden short after opening the first Hang-gliding and Paragliding Pilot Training Center of the German Democratic Republic.
After the annexation, of what i called home, by the invasive consumer culture of the West, i retreated in 1993 from the overwhelmingly fast growing stress and pollution to the peaceful and unspoiled nature of the South Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.
Here i found Paradise in the, than very tiny, sleepy, open-minded and friendly, totally self sufficient farmers village Playa Uvita.
Re-naturalizing an from monoculture and cattle farming depleted land with the help of friends, volunteers and natural guides, we opened 1994 the Simple Living, Natural Health and Healing and Water-Fasting Retreat Cascada Verde. Shortly after studying Permaculture Design, Sivananda Yoga, Meditation and NonViolent Communication these aspects enriched the profile of what became later E.D.E.N. (Environment for Divine Evolution with Nature)
Up to this day we continue to share Natures blessings with the ones interested in natural health and healing, personal growth and planetary happiness & wellbeing.
Welcome to enjoy healthy retreating and natural restoration at E.D.E.N.
Thank you for spreading the word about us.
Best wishes to you and all.
With love and gratitude
Patrick
