The space
Please note:
-Located just outside of The Village of Waterford off ~2-mile gravel road.
-This treehouse is accessible via steep narrow spiral staircase. Also, the 2nd floor is only accessible by steep spiral staircase.
-While we aim to provide a peaceful and private stay the treehouse sits behind another Airbnb Log Cabin Rental, and there are also neighboring houses. Once inside the treehouse you will feel complete privacy.
-Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided by STARLINK
-Main floor includes full kitchen (oven, stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, Keurig Coffee Maker. Small table with seating for 2 for meals. Living space includes couch and Roku TV.
-Main floor has 1 bedroom with king bed and 2nd level (accessed via spiral staircase) have 1 bedroom with king bed.
-Bathroom is located on Main Floor - sink, toilet and stand-up shower.
-There is a laundry space located behind blue curtains on main floor.
-The heat does rise to the top floor - therefore may be warmer than the bottom - you can adjust temperature by opening window using fan, etc., the building is very well insulated and heated and cooled with a ductless system
-Outside firepit area with seating for cozy evenings by campfire.
Guest access
- Driveway, treehouse and surrounding grounds.
-you are welcome to explore the woods directly behind the treehouse down the very steep path to the creek if you wish.

-Driveway is narrow and can be difficult for large vehicles and snowy weather conditions.
-Located in the woods, there are animals, bugs, and prone to brown marmorated stink bug in the early fall season.
-We are a PET-FRIENDLY rental and charge a minimal pet fee. However, please note that if there is excessive pet hair left on our linens, an automatic $100 fee will be applied. We recommend not allowing your pets on the furniture or bedding. If the comforter and linens are covered in pet hair, they might need to be thrown out completely. We will do everything, we can to assist you so that this is not an issue. Responsible pet owners should have no problems—we travel everywhere with our lab!
-Internet, Electricity, TV, Road Conditions, Snow, Ice etc. cannot be guaranteed if there is a problem with the provider.
-The reservation must match the amount of guest at any time.
-the phone number on your airbnb account must match and be correct (or include a current number directly after booking in the message thread)
-No Exterior Loud Noise and No Gatherings or Parties of any kind, and no non-registered guests should be one the property at any time.
