The place was beautiful and dawn was such an accommadating pleasant host. I wished I could have stayed longer.
My time at the Three Covered Bridges, staying in the Yellow Room was absolutely wonderful. The location is stunning, the property is located on 74 acres of beautiful Vermont wilderness. The backyard gardens provide a serene space for relaxing, escaping, and becoming truly refreshed. I wish I had more time to spend leisurely taking in the atmosphere instead of just stopping through.
Dawn was lovely, and an embodiment of the word hospitality. We arrived late in the evening after driving through a torrential thunderstorm, and she was ready to bring us into her quiet, peaceful, and sacred space. We awoke to a beautiful breakfast of fresh coffee, muffins, fruit, granola, and an overall pleasant atmosphere. Practically speaking she provided great directions and responded to all inquires in a very timely manner.
I highly recommend staying here, either renting a room or the private apartment. I will most certainly try to make a repeat visit.
Booked last minute and Dawn was very accommodating and hospitable. She was very flexible to my arrival & departure schedule and gave great directions. The yellow room is great for one person--comfortable bed and beautiful shared bathroom. Stunning setting in the winter though I'm sure it's even better in the summer. I was able to get to Mad River Glen to ski in about 30 mins.
We stayed just for a night with Dawn and we couldn't have chosen a better place and a better host. She is the most hospitable person one could ever meet and her place is impeccable and if you need some quiet and peace, Three covered Bridges is the place to go to! We were extremely happy with our experience at Dawn Fagan's place.

About the Host, Dawn
Originally from New Jersey, I fell in love with Vermont's mountain wilderness when I was about 12 years old. (Wow...no billboards!)
Years later, I bought a falling down camp (no wiring, no plumbing, etc.) and spent much time and money just getting the house into a livable condition. It's been another 15 years or so working out the details and chipping away at the outrageously overgrown flora and fauna to create open areas and some gardens. Whew!
Here's a quizz about Vermonters...."What do you call a Vermonter with 3 jobs?" Answer: "Lazy".
Like most folks here in the Green Mountains I do several things for "loot". I so some substitute teaching, respite for handicapped clients, waitressing and professional driving. In between those, I've finally been able to get my "guest house" up and running!
