  • The old stone house offers a beautiful view from the lounge terrace and pool into the Tuscany landscape - magnificant - and a perfect location between Lucca and Florenz. The rooms were decorated with love to detail, the kitchen was functionable and there is a nice and friendly atmosphere between the guests and the host. We enjoied our stay very much.

  • We stayed 5 nights and loved the old stone house. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the terrace and pool outside are outstanding. The view is exceptional! We did a number of day trips to Lucca, Florence and Siena - the old stone house was a good base from which to explore these other areas. Free wifi was a nice option. We didn't get a chance to meet Giacomo but the hosts in his absence were very attentive. The place is a little difficult to find at first and the driveway is very steep! However, once you get your bearings - it's not so bad. I can't imagine that anyone would be disappointed with the old stone house. If I am ever in Tuscany again, I would definitely stay here!!! Loved it.

  • Was die Fotos versprechen wird gehalten. Fantastisches Haus mitten in der Toskana, tolle Ortschaften drum herum. Das war nicht der letzte Aufenthalt bei Giacomo...

  • A wonderful retreat in the Tuscan hills - a much needed escape from all the tourists! We loved our time at the old stone house and wish we could have stayed longer - Giacomo was very helpful with local knowledge regarding food etc and the house itself is beautifully appointed and very peaceful. Definitely recommend a cappuccino from Monica at the local shop, and a good tip to buy a few supplies as there is a great kitchen at the house if you don't want to have to drive to go out to eat. A little tricky to find, and the driveway is very steep - be mindful if you're driving a manual car! Thank you Giacomo - we hope to return!

  • We had a nice stay at Giacomo's old stone house. It is located in a nice little town a short distance to Florence and numerous wineries. We did not have the opportunity to meet Giacomo but his friends at the house were very friendly. We also loved getting to meet Giacomo's dogs - Borat and Toucan! Dogs were so beautiful and friendly! The house is surrounded by great scenery and is very unique and interesting inside.

  • The stay was lovely, pity Giacomo couldn't be there to host for us, but the home and decoration was beautiful as described and we met some lovely people there too!

  • the owners where not here when we arrived but the friends looking after the place made us feel welcome.
the house was a comfortable retreat, although Vinci was not my favourite town. Overall nice stay, great hot shower!

  • simply amazing.

  • Our only regret is that our stay at Giacomo's fantastic home was way too short. Our room was excellent and the shared kitchen worked very well. All other guests were very friendly and cooperative in using shared spaces. Giacomo's was a great host and was always very helpful without being asked.
