The hosts were not there when we arrived but left a nice welcome letter posted on the front door with all the pertinent information. This house is fantastic!! Every nook and cranny has some interesting piece of artwork. The bedroom and bath were very spacious and comfortable. Finally, the house is situated high in the Tuscan hills with breathtaking views. This is a great place to relax and unwind!

Giacomo and Rolly were very warm and welcoming. After a little (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map confusion, they made sure we made found our way. The House was amazing. We loved the look and the layout. There was beautiful art everywhere. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was very nice and secluded. We ate figs off and apples from the trees by terrace. The kitchen was awesome. We liked it so much we went to the market to buy supplies and prepare a meal. There was even a charcoal grill that we used for roasting peppers and grilling a rabbit. YUM! We enjoyed the location. The views of the Tuscan countryside, the short walk to town to buy a supplies from Monica (very nice lady), the slower pace of the area...ALL GOOD. We would, definitely recommend staying here. Thanks guys, Bill and Mona

The Old Stone House in Tuscany is a "must stay" when visiting Italy's wine region. In my entire life I have never stayed in such a beautiful, historic, and artistic home. My family of 6 adults each had our own uniquely decorated bedroom with private bathroom. Guests have access to the kitchen and lounge (located in the home's past wine cellar) where we could store a few grocery items and make a simple breakfast before we went out for the day. We took full advantage of the pool and covered terrace which both overlook groves of olive trees and the peaceful Tuscan hillside. In nearby towns you can find authentic Italian restaurants and small grocery stores to purchase wine, produce, pasta, croissants and cappuccinos. Giacomo was incredibly welcoming and offered helpful advice of places to eat and places to see in the area. He is a wealth of knowledge. The views of Tuscany, the quiet country hillside, and the comfort that this home provides went above and beyond our expectations. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Giacomo for an unforgettable experience in Tuscany!

What a stunning house set in a beautiful location! In the middle of nowhere, where the roads are more taken over by bicycles than cars, and walking through the countryside is so breathtaking! We stayed for 3 nights and loved it, we walked to Vinci from the house which only took 2 hours, (warning this is uphill going back) but was really worth if, went through a little village and had coffee and breakfast which was lovely. We also drove to Pistoria from here too, which us beautiful. Rolly and Giacomo were lovely hosts, very helpful and have us loads of recommendations which we did and loved all of them, all in all we would highly recommend it.

The old stone house offers a beautiful view from the lounge terrace and pool into the Tuscany landscape - magnificant - and a perfect location between Lucca and Florenz. The rooms were decorated with love to detail, the kitchen was functionable and there is a nice and friendly atmosphere between the guests and the host. We enjoied our stay very much.
