About this listing

The space

The apartment 'Tiberino 2', 70 sq mt, very spacious and luminous, is located in the Jewish Ghetto, in Piazza delle Cinque Scole, which is considered one of the most trendy and lively areas of Rome due to the myriad of restaurants, enoteche, bars, cafe on open air, artisans, and due to the location so close to Campo dei Fiori, Trastevere, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia. The apartment, located at the mezzanine floor (not many climbing stairs) of a XVII Century building, is 'brand new' (remodeling works finished Jan 2009) elegantly furnished with some modern and antiques furniture and is very well connected with public transportation to Central Termini Station. Belong to the property a fantastic big 'secret' garden (is not accessible directly from the apartment, needs to go out the front door and use a next door private gate) where you can enjoy a glass of wine or just the greenery and the freshness of the palms....hard to believe that you are just in the very centre of ancient Rome....
If you are a group up 11 you can consider both units TIBERINO 1 and TIBERINO 2 we say "attached" as they are next to each other.
The location is in the very heart of Rome Jews Ghetto and Rome's Jews have been living in this neighborhood for 22 centuries, giving birth to the only Jewish community to be present always in the same place before the Diaspora. At few steps from the apartment you will be able to visit the magnificent Synagogue, which was built from and is a unique Persian and Babylonian architectural design, that contrasts with the rest of the city, like the next door ancient Theatre of Marcellus, which was build in honor of Marcus Marcellus, the nephew of Emperor Augustus. Crossing Ponte Fabricio you will reach in few minutes the trendy and lively Trastevere. All around the apartment you will find a myriad of restaurants, for any types of taste and budget, kosher restaurants (like the famous Gigetto al Portico d’Ottavia, famous for the 'Artichoke alla judia') Roman and ethnic restaurants, enoteche, bakery (don’t forget to taste the famous Pizza Giudia) and delicious gelato. The apartments are very well connected with public transportation to Central Termini Station (bus n. 64 and n. 40 stop in Largo Argentina) and from the Station a train or bus will connect you to Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport.

Keywords: Luxury flat in the center of the city, condo, elegant, two attached units in the same building, on the same floor. Indipendent entrance.

The apartment is very functional, 2 real rooms, perfectly located in Rome, and the little garden is a nice bonus. Gabriella was very flexible and the organisation was easy. A very nice time in Rome.

Great apartment in a wonderful location. It is located in the Jewish Ghetto, but at the same time it is in a calm and quiet plaza. Within walking distance of almost all the main attractions to see in Rome. Communication with the host was wonderful and we received a great welcome. I went with my wife and 2 children and we had more than enough room and were comfortable. Great stay and would highly recommend.

Gabriella was very communicative, and organized a driver to pick us up from the airport. Her cousin Fabiano, met us at the apartment and gave us a quick over view of the rooms, automatic blinds, information/maps, how to use the keys to get into/out of the apartment. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we cooked 3 meals at home. The apartment was well set up for our group of 5. Our 3 children (12, 9, 5 years) shared one large room of three single beds, and my husband and I had two single beds pushed together to make the double in a different room (not the best nights sleep for us - beds had some uncomfortable springs). Location of the apartment was FANTASTIC! 1 minute to great restaurants, supermarket, gelato. We walked to all our sightseeing destinations. Overall we had a wonderful trip and appreciated the wifi and responsive communication with Fabiano during our stay.

Hello everybody!
I live in Rome. I own and manage some properties, great locations for your holidays in Rome. You are welcome to my home and you will feel like your (URL HIDDEN) vacation!!!
I love my country and people visiting it....because this means that they love it too.
I like to travel even if this doesn't happen too much, but I do that with my mind and it is fine for me as well. I have just to wait my sons grow up a little more...
Love of all
