Our apartment, in the heart of the up and coming Raval, is a 5 min walk to the Ramblas, fully equipped, fresh and airy and full of charm.
The typical modernista-tiled floors, high ceilings, original exposed beams and brand new shower room enhance its authenticity and comfort. It offers an original marble open-space kitchen, large living and dining area all to yourself. It is on the second floor with two small outside spaces.
If you like reading we have a large library of books to keep you occupied during your stay!
This is a simple and charming base from which to explore central Barcelona.
The apartment is located in the Raval close to the antique Sant Antoni marketplace. (We have made a list of the great but still secret local delights for you to explore).
Plaça Catalunya, the Ramblas, Plaza Espana and Barrio Gotico are all within 10 minutes walking distance - getting to and from Barcelona airport is also very quick and easy see directions.
The nearby Joaquim Costa street offers Barcelona's coolest bars and cafés, leading to MACBA; a must for art-lovers.

Nice appartement. Good and lovely neighbourhood (bars, restaurants, vintage shops etc.), also very close to Bario Gotico and Ramblas. A great location to explore the city. Metro around the corner, big fresh market Sant Antoni as well. Zara was a great host, extremely helpful and with valuable recommendations for us. Would recommend it....
Place was great, It has a soul:) And it's very close to all attractions of Barcelona.
The apartment was well located, comfortable, and clean. Zara was extremely helpful and all of her recommendations were great. We had an excellent time. There is not longer a big dresser in the bedroom as in the photo. The neighborhood is really fun, lots of great bars, vintage shops, and restaurants, and close to MACBA.
Nice appartement. Just 10 min walk to the ramblas. Zara was verry hospital an gave is Some good tips.
This was a great space for us. Zara was an excellent host. Felt very much at home. Coffee each morning on the terrace. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and entertaining. Apartment had a lot of charm. Bed was very comfortable. Note: neighbors up early and play late.... But you're on vacation right? So we acclimate:) In a really vibrant neighborhood. Felt safe in apartment and in neighborhood. Great little cafes nearby and grocery as well. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again ourselves!
Me and my friend had a lovely time in this great place. Everything went very smoothly and Mary Jane, Zara and their friend Laurie were great hosts and a mean team helping each other out with the practicalities making us feel at home and taken care of. The location is perfect and the apartment very genuine. It is a bit nosy though, but we were pleasantly surprised how early the neighbors got quiet in the night, I guess solidarity is a must when you live in a building with thin walls. And if you are the partying type, there are plenty of great bars in the neighborhood to hang out at instead of being at home. i would definitely come back and recommend staying here! PS: if you wanna get in to mode before your trip, watch the movie "The Spanish apartment" :)
