Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while relaxing in this beautiful island home. Nestled in the green hills of Mount Resaca, Casa Paraíso at Campo Alto features a breezy, wrap-around porch. You'll be able to sip your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the breathtaking views of the island and ocean around you.

You'll love the hand-made Spanish tile, spacious open floorplan, and stunning views of this home in paradise!

The space
There are two, large bedrooms for you and your group to relax in.

The first bedroom is large and airy, has a queen bed, a new air conditioner for the oversized room, private bath, and a beautiful, custom tile shower with both handheld and rainfall shower heads.

The second bedroom has a king bed where you can lie and enjoy the breathtaking views of the island and ocean. A large closet and dresser give ample storage for all your needs.

The second bedroom connects directly to the shared bath off of the kitchen, which includes a tub / shower combo to enjoy after a long day at the beach.

Both bedrooms have direct access to the expansive wrap-around deck, allowing you to step out and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets directly from your room.

For larger groups, there is a full-size sofa bed in the living room.

After a good night's rest, you'll enjoy the large, well-stocked kitchen with center island. Everything you'll need to cook your meals is right at your fingertips!

The living area includes games for your entertainment, books to enjoy while you relax in the air-conditioning, and a Roku TV.

For your time on Culebra's world-famous beaches, we provide you with beach chairs, towels, a cooler and more!

This listing is for the entire top-floor unit. The lower unit is an owners' suite and our workshop / laundry.

We're excited to welcome you to this corner of paradise! While you're here, please keep a few things in mind:

6 guests maximum at Casa Paraiso, including infants and children.

To maintain safety and privacy for our family and other guests at the property, we do not allow visitors or parties at Campo Alto.

Because taxis on the island can be expensive and difficult to arrange to our area, we do recommend guests have their own transportation.

The hills around Culebra, including our driveway at Campo Alto, can be steep. While many guests stay at Campo Alto with golf carts, many prefer renting vehicles for their stay to make it easier to navigate the hills and keep them dry during tropical weather. You will be provided with a list of the local rental agencies after you book, we recommend checking for options that will best suit your group. It is best to book your rental vehicle / golf cart as soon as possible, as the rental agencies may sell out during busier times.

Our island, and Puerto Rico as a whole, can experience power outages from time to time. We have emergency lights in the bedrooms and main living area of the house, and we can help with charging phones as needed during an outage. We have a small emergency generator that we will use to run the water pump for the house and the refrigerator during an extended outage. Since the island power is out of our control, refunds are not issued for power outages that may occur during your stay.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance for any trip, and especially if you are booking during hurricane season (June - November). Airbnb's Major Disruptive Events policy does not typically cover cancellation for hurricanes in our region during these times.

I am a midwestern-born traveler with a passion for being near (and in!) the oceans. I first came to Culebra in the 90's and have spent the last three decades learning about and falling in love with the island over many visits. We were fortunate enough to be able to buy our dream property here in 2023, which will eventually be where we retire! In the meantime, we are excited to welcome guests to experience the magic of Culebra with us.
