We were received by David a friend of Michel. David is a photographer, has travelled to Europe and is just incredibly thoughful and generous. The appartment was as described, spacious, calm and absolutely clean and well looked after. We have used airbnb more than ten times this was our best experience. We will certainly stay in this place again.
The unit was very spacious, homey, very functional and comfortable.
Dave was wonderful. Communication with him was easy and he responded quickly. Upon arrival, Dave took the extra step and met us in Manhattan and rode with us to Brooklyn to show us the unit and then took a cab back into Manhattan for his appointment.
The neighborhood was safe. We often walked from subway after 10 pm.
We stayed in this apartment for over 4 weeks. We were visiting our son and family who live nearby. We were very happy with this apartment and will certainly seek to stay there again. All the arrangements went very smoothly, and the apartment was clean, well stocked, and well presented. It was also quiet, which was a bonus. The owner arranged to have a manager meet and greet us, as he does for all the guests. It was comforting to know that there was a manager to whom we could turn should we have any issues. The location was excellent for both a Brooklyn visit and a visit to Manhattan. We made good use of the metro which was only a 5 min walk from the apartment.
Michael was a great host and his apartment was top notch. My Dad recently stayed at his apartment whilst visiting from the UK and everything was exactly as described and brand spanking new. Everything about the stay was great and we'd throughly recommend to others.
This was my first trip to NYC. We stayed at Mi's lovely apartment for a week and we loved it. It's a very nice apartment in a new building. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We feel safe staying here. The location is good. Close to the F/G/R subway. A trip to Manhattan is a30-40 minute ride via train. We never meet Mi but he arranged his friend David to check us in. David and his wife was great!! He was very well informed of the area. He gave us a lot of useful tips. He even help us to book transport to JFK. It was a last minute request. It was really a great experience staying in Mi's apartment. My cousin and I have enjoyed the apartment very much and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay when they visit NYC.
Very nice, clean and modern apartment. This is one of the best air bnb experience we have had. We were late by a couple of hours due to a coach fault and David was very accommodating. The apartment has everything that we need - linen, hairdryer, wifi etc. The area is very safe and easy to get to the metro. It is about 30 min away from central manhattan.
