It's in a small town called Oji which is 3 stops/20min by JR from Nara. Authentic traditional Japanese style. Just next to the JR station. Shingo is very responsive and helpful. Worth the price.

Shingo was a great host. The house is a beautuful and traditional guesthouse. He is extremely close to the Oji station. It is a little further from Nara than we expected, but easy to travel to, and totally worth it.

A great place to stay! Super cool traditional house, great location near the train station. Good if you want something different and see life outside the major cities like Osaka or Tokyo; can still reach Osaka easily enough.
