The Space

Very clean, spacious apartment in a resort-style community with full facilities: outdoor salt-water pool, newly equipped 24-hour gym with suspension bands, media console cardio machines, circuit machines, free weights, bosu balls, and tanning bed. We have two clunky bicycles for guests to use around town! Property has car wash and BBQ gazebo.

Our 2nd floor suite is just over 1,100 sq. ft. with 9.5 ft. ceiling, west-facing balcony and large picture windows, open-concept kitchen, one big bedroom (second BR not available) and large bathroom. Kitchen has a gas range, full oven, microwave, fan, in-sink disposal, dishwasher and large counter prep area. A breakfast bar for 2 overlooks a formal dining area for 6 (seats 8 total) with a ceiling fan over dining area. Spacious living room has central air conditioner and heater controls. Entertainment unit holds full stereo w/ cassette/CD player, large flat screen with basic TV, internet stations, and blueray/DVD player; gas fireplace and walkout to a patio with small table and 6 patio chairs. The entire apartment receives plenty of natural light. Master bedroom has a double (smaller than queen) bed that sleeps two, ceiling fan, a work station with ergonomic desk chair, blackout curtains and venetian blinds. This unit has one large full bathroom.

Guests have access to all kitchen/laundry/cleaning supplies. Continental breakfast will be available for the first few mornings. We can accommodate special dietary needs with advance notice.

Our place is suitable for guests who want a bright, quiet space to relax, get good sleep, and/or have a productive working holiday. This is a bedroom community, safer than any of the Cleveland suburbs but close enough to run to the city for errands and entertainment.

This exurb is conveniently located next to the I-180 entrance. It borders Hudson, is 20 minutes from Beachwood and Chagrin Falls. As the region's shopping hub, this area has most of the major box stores and restaurant franchises. Local grocers are Giant Eagle, Aldi, Valu Mart, K-Mart, and Walmart. We recommend taking the 20 minute drive to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods in Woodmere, OH for your organics. Public transit is limited. We offer you a bicycle to use in town. 3 miles of sidewalk surround this subdivision. It's advisable to drive while exploring NE Ohio. Our complex has a large undesignated, uncovered, off-street parking lot for you to park your car(s) without permit. We may drive you from/to the airport or car rental office if given sufficient notice.

Some things to keep in mind: there is no elevator to our 2nd floor suite; this unit is not wheelchair accessible. Also, because of the balcony, glass furniture, and cream carpet, our place is not suitable for toddlers or pets.

Guest Access

The spare bedroom is used for storage and off limits.
All apartment and complex amenities are shared including patio, pool, clubhouse, business center, fitness center, tanning bed, bbq pits, gazebo, car wash, off-street parking.

Interaction with Guests

We have minimal interaction with our guests because our main home is out of town. We will greet guests at check in and are available by phone or email thereafter.

The Neighborhood

The complex also has 3 miles of winding sidewalks suitable for walking/jogging. It is very convenient for shopping. It has all of the major box stores, grocery, restaurant chains. We are right next to Hudson. We are also a short drive from Aurora Premium Outlet Mall.

Getting Around

This is an exurban bedroom community and does not have good public transit. If we can arrange it in advance, I may be able to drive you to/from the airport. You'll need a car to get around while you are here. We have ample off-street parking but you may need to hunt for parking around the large complex when arriving later in the evening.

The smaller second bedroom contains personal belongings and is unavailable until further notice.

House Rules

Based on past experience, this unit is suitable for one couple. It is not childproofed for small children or toddlers. Sorry!

Apartment is smoke-free but you are welcome to smoke on the balcony. Please ash/butt into a disposable container.

We do a thorough cleaning after each guest and only ask that you take out the trash and perishables at check-out. Additional check-out procedures will be made available at check-in.
