The Space

This bright, spacious apartment is in a resort-style community with full facilities: outdoor salt-water pool, 24-hour accessible gym with circuit machines, free weights and tanning bed, car wash, BBQ gazebo, and small playground pit. The pool, clubhouse and gym are currently under renovation. Please inquire about completion date.

Our 2nd floor suite is just over 1,100 sq. ft. with 9.5 ft. ceiling, west-facing balcony and large windows, open-concept kitchen, two bedrooms and large bathroom. Kitchen has a gas range, full oven, microwave, fan, large sink, in-sink composter, dishwasher and large counter prep (email hidden) for 2 overlooks a formal dining area for 6 (8 seats total) with a ceiling fan over dining area. Spacious living room has central air conditioner and heater controls, full stereo, flat screen internet TV, entertainment center, DVDs and music; gas fireplace and walkout to a patio that seats 2. The entire apartment receives plenty of natural light. Master bedroom has a double bed that sleeps two, ceiling fan, two-person work station with proper desk chairs. Second bedroom has a fold-out foam mattress suitable for one tall adult or two small children, a dresser and nightstand. So the entire apartment sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Both bedrooms have Venetian blinds and black-out curtains. This unit has one large full bathroom.

Guests have access to all kitchen/laundry/cleaning equipment/supplies. Continental breakfast will be available for the first few mornings. We can accommodate special dietary needs with advance notice.

Our place is suitable for guests who want a bright, quiet space to relax, get good sleep, and/or have a productive working holiday. This is a bedroom community, safer than any of the Cleveland suburbs but close enough to run to the city for errands and entertainment.

We are conveniently located next to I-180 entrance. We border Hudson and are 20 minutes from Beachwood and Chagrin Falls. We are in the shopping hub for our region, located next to most of the major box stores and restaurant franchises. Local grocery chains are Giant Eagle, Aldi, Valu Mart, K-Mart, and Walmart. We recommend taking the 20 minute drive to Trader Joe's in Woodmere, OH for your organics. Public transit is limited. We offer you a bicycle to use in town. 3 miles of sidewalk surround this subdivision. It's advisable to drive while exploring NE Ohio. Our complex has a large undesignated, off-street parking lot for you to park your car(s). We may drive you from/to the airport or car rental office if given sufficient notice.

There is no elevator to our 2nd floor suite; this unit is not wheelchair accessible. Also, because of the balcony, our place is not suitable for small children. Sorry, but no pets allowed.

CALENDAR UPDATE: The entire apartment is available whenever the $95/night rate is indicated. Because this is our second home, on days where $45/night is indicated, a private 2nd bedroom is available in a shared apartment with us. If you are a couple looking for a private bedroom, the master bedroom may be made available for $55/night for two adults maximum. On days where $95/night is indicated, the entire apartment is available to sleep three adults maximum. We welcome phone calls and discount rates for stays exceeding 14 days.

Guest Access

Only the walk-in closet in the master bedroom is off limits: this is where we store our personal belongings.
All apartment and complex amenities are shared including patio, pool, clubhouse, business center, fitness center, tanning bed, bbq pits, gazebo, car wash, off-street parking.

Interaction with Guests

On days when the apartment is shared, we leave very early in the morning and come home late. We have minimal interaction with our guests unless you'd like our company. Guests may reach us 24-hours by phone.

The Neighborhood

It is very convenient for shopping. It has all of the major box stores, grocery chains and and outlet mall. Greentree properties also has an extensive sidewalk network that is great for outdoor walking/jogging.

Getting around

This is an exurban bedroom community and does not have good public transit. If we can arrange it in advance, I may be able to drive you to/from the airport. You'll need a car to get around while you are here. We have ample off-street parking for you to park whereever you'd like.

Other Things to Note

The flatscreen TV is connected to the internet and has an HDMI set up that connects to the DVD player or other devices. An antennae may be installed for 55 channels of regular television if requested in advance.

  • The spacious apartment is in a perfect location and has full amenities and parking. We found the apartment clean and well fit-out with great internet service, appliances and furniture. Rasia and Brian were great hosts, giving us an instructional tour beforehand.

  • Stepping into Rasia's immaculate spacious living/dining room on a cold, snowy pre-Thanksgiving Eve was like opening an early Christmas gift for a tired traveler! Rasia met us to give us a tour and general operational instructions for anything I might need. My two-night stay had all the comforts of a dear friend's cherished apartment readied just for me! There were ample breakfast items for selection and the appliances necessary for meal preparation. The apartment was neat, serene, and tastefully decorated with interesting wall hangings and holiday decor. My selection of Bach from her ample CD and DVD collection added to the ambiance of the experience. I would highly recommend your choosing this tranquil B and B experience if you are traveling in the Streetsboro/Hudson vicinity. It offers many amenities and a gracious, accommodating host!!!

  • Thanks for a great stay! My friend and I met here for a business retreat and the spot was perfect for us. The apartment was clean and open, and the location was just a few miles from the grocery store and other shopping. And the pool was a nice bonus!

  • The apartment was clean and quiet, the neighborhood was of the nicest in the area. We had to change dates and this end up quite messy in terms of payments, but Rasia was very helpful in the process of resolving the issues.

  • We enjoyed staying in Rasia's apartment. It is located in a quiet and safe complex. There is plenty of parking and amenities galore. The balcony is an added plus! Check in was easy and Rasia communicated great. Also there are walking trails around and Rasia (email hidden) with local places/events to check out. We worked from her apartment for a week and it was by far one of the best setups we've had with the double desk, large dining table, and strong internet. I would highly recommend!
