Very welcoming and helpful hosts on email, excellent directions and a very spacious and clean cottage when we arrived. Wonderful view of the sleeping giant mountain through main window. June was very kind and hospitable in person. Highly recommended.
Il cottage è situato a circa 20 minuti da Sligo in aperta campagna. Ristrutturato di recente c'è tutto l'occorrente anche se essenziale nell'arredamento per esempio della due camere da letto. Consigliato per chi ama la tranquillità.
We absolutely loved staying at June and Michael's home. Their house in the gorgeous Sligo countryside is exquisitely crafted with fine hardwood floors and gleaming tile. The kitchen is super modern and equipped with excellent wares. The bedrooms upstairs are cozy. From the living room picture window you see the Sleeping Giant and happy cows grazing in lush Irish pastures. Step outside and the melodies of many birds will greet you and your eyes will delight in the abundant wildflowers of the meadows. We could not have been more delighted!

We had a great stay in Ballintogher at the cottage. Everything was all ready and waiting for us when we arrived and we didn't have any problems. Shame about the weather, but it was still a good weekend!
We had a fabulous weekend staying in the lovely cozy cottage, exploring the beautiful woodland around Lough Gill and the beaches of Sligo. June and her family were very welcoming and great hosts, they provided us with loads of information on the local area and activities to enjoy. We definitely hope to return some time in the future.
We had a wonderful stay in this warm cottage with views from every window. Exploring County Sligo from here was easy, and the local Lough Gill was a beautiful for walks and sights. Our host lived next door, and made us feel very welcome. Whether you have people to visit locally or want to explore this wonderful part of the world, I can highly recommend a stay at this property.
Yes, hosts made us feel most welcome. The cottage was spotless and well laid out.
It is conveniently located near the picturesque village of Ballintogher and not far from Sligo town, Slish Wood and Lough Gill.
We enjoyed warm hospitalilty at Moran's pub in the village, good coffee, wine, and an open fire to cheer us on a dull winter's day.
