Victory Heights is a "pocket neighborhood". It's secluded with parks and green space plus easy access to Thornton Creek. The neighborhood has some of the original houses built from the early 1920's to after WWII, all built on large lots. You'll discover how convenient the quiet neighborhood is to bus lines and I-5.

Other Things to Note
The City of Seattle requires that we collect a 9.5% sales tax upon arrival that is not included in the Airbnb charge. We'll leave an envelope for you in the room with the total.
Smoke-free house and grounds. Low-to-no alcohol use appreciated. Recycle and composting bins provided. Choose two twins or one king - let me know when you register. No pets allowed.
The room was perfect! Very quiet and clean. The bed was amazingly comfy. Christy has done a very nice job of providing all the things that make a person feel quite comfortable when they are away from home.
Nice quiet, clean room and great bed. I felt quite welcome, little card with information, fruit and some drinks in the refrigerator
Christy and Bill were very friendly and we felt welcome. We hope to stay here again as it was a cozy place with every amenity needed plus extras - loved the homemade granola! The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was fun to walk through in the morning. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
I really like the room! I have no regret choosing the place as my "home" in Seattle!
We are a couple from China, and come for visiting my daughter's college. I have to say, wherever you wanna go, starting from the house is convenient. Every time I went to UW, we could either take a bus, 73 route, or just walk. If you like shopping, Northgate Mall is close, and 73 route will directly take you to the downtown Seattle.
Furthermore, my husband and I like to take a walk in parks, We visited many parks around, and all of them were beautiful and you don't need to walk for a long time to get there. I do suggest to go to parks for a walk! You will be relaxed!
The most awesome thing about the house is that the house has a super nice host -- Christy!!! We have some problems about the communication because the different language, but she always like to patiently explain it by using body language :) When we need some help, she always try to figure it out for us! We really appreciate it!
We have a wonderful trip in Seattle, and a good experience in this house. My daughter likes it, so maybe next time we will come back!
The room was exactly as pictured. I like that you have a choice to have the bed made up as a king or two twins. The room isn't large, but is very adequate if you aren't planning to spend all day there. We were quite busy during our weekend in Seattle, so this worked out quite well. We were out all day, only arriving at night to sleep. Consequently, we only met Christy once briefly as she showed us the room.
It is quite the cozy hideaway and has everything you'd need - comfortable beds, ample room for luggage (including tons of room to store/hang clothes), tea/coffee with small fridge with breakfast foods. and clean, spacious bathroom.
We did not have a car with us and walked to where we needed to go. The neighborhood is a nice place for a stroll, with many homes having a small garden in their front yards.
The only downside is that, as a very light sleeper, I was able to hear them walking upstairs late at night and early in the morning. Even though I slept with headphones (with music playing), the creaking woke me up very early both mornings. It probably wouldn't bother anyone who isn't such a light sleeper.
We are a couple travelling with a 17mth baby. Christy was very pleasant and provided good directions and suggestions getting to town.
The room was just as described and shown in the pictures. Very clean, and comfortable, with everything you might need during a stay. Bed was big and comfy, water was hot. There is a small area for the mini fridge, and even a kettle to boil hot water for tea.
Love this place and would come back if I visit again.
Christy is warm and kind. Unit is clean. Breakfast items provided are very nice and thoughtful. Neighborhood is quiet and seems very safe. Great location is easy to find and nearby good shopping and dining.
From PNW. I work in sustainability from my home office. It's exciting to see so many people interested in the same things I am. Bill and I garden in our large yard, glean fruit in season (blackberries!) and enjoy trading seeds with other gardeners. Bill is the kale gardener and eats it every day - as in all 4 seasons!
We are happy in our new role as grandparents and look forward to lots fun times playing with the new one.
We are lovers of the big screen and particularly like documentaries.
