ANYONE BOOKING A STAY AND ALL GUESTS MUST READ AND AGREE TO FOLLOW THE GUEST GUIDELINES BELOW
ABOUT ME: I'm a lawyer (Brown/U. Penn) and have lived previously in University City and another location in Rittenhouse, but I've been at this location for almost four years and I love it! I'm looking for quiet, respectful professionals as guests (no parties allowed and no smoking).
WHEN BOOKING: Note - the minimum stay is currently 2 nights. Please provide all requested check-in and check-out times BEFORE booking the residence, otherwise arrangements to pick up the key ahead of time must be made by the guest. Check-in is generally available 3 p.m.-8 p.m. and check-out is before noon but other times may be accommodated if agreed ahead of booking. As the apartment is fully furnished, no additional furniture/fixtures are permitted.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Please note as well that this is a quiet building, so no parties or groups are permitted and please keep sound at a reasonable level. Note as well, however, that you can hear the washer during the rinse and spin cycles. Additionally, there is usually parking available on my block (note the restrictions and Philadelphia Parking Authority's zealousness in disseminating tickets :-)) and there are reasonably-priced parking lot nearby surrounding the block.
Let me know if you have additional questions about me or the apartment or any special requests and I'll look forward to your visit!

Nakia was great and the place was as-advertised; she has a sense of style that made it feel like my own home. I think we might be decorating twins! It was a nice space to come home to after a wonderful time out in Philly. One of the best perks was the location. Even more, Nakia was attentive and addressed the questions I had promptly. The bed took some getting used to, but other than that having a full kitchen, gym, and laundry were just like home! Thanks, Nakia!
The perfect place to stay in Philadelphia! I was in town for a conference for the week, and this apartment was central to everyplace I needed to be (the conference center, evening parties, fantastic restaurants...) A lovely home with all the trimmings, and Nakia was a wonderful hostess. Highly recommend!
A beautuful place, perfect location
Loved the apt! The place is beautiful, modern, clean and just as the pics shown. Only issue was that I could not stay longer :)
The reservation was canceled 25 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The apartment could NOT be better located, it is right smack in the centre of all the action. Naki was so easy to deal with and access to the apartment was a breeze. She has a wonderful home, extremely chic and comfortable. The bed is exceptionally comfy! I recommend this wonderful property highly.
Great place, location, and the best host so far. Highly recommended.
What a wonderful host! We ran into a minor conflict regarding check-in time, but Nakia was very sweet and offered us to have a later check-out time to make up for time lost. There was a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we entered the apartment, so that we could celebrate when we finish our 5k (which was the reason we were in Philly). How thoughtful was that?
The place was wonderfully decorated and spotless. Nakia even gave us a big pile of take-out/delivery menus as well as magazines and books on restaurants and sites around the area. She was always a text message / phone call away, which gave us a peace of mind. We felt very safe with the doorman downstairs and the double-lock doors. The bed was super super comfortable; I spent a large portion of one afternoon just lying in bed with the Philly sunshine shining through the windows.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay with Nakia the next time I'm in town!
We had a fantastic stay in this central apartment that has a great personality and so was very homely and comfortable. Nakia was a great host and willinging to assist in any way she could. Would definitely return!
This was my first trip to Philly and I really lucked out by finding Nakia's place. It is in a prime (email hidden)fe, close to so many good restaurants, bars, shopping, and diBruno's grocery store. Rittenhouse Square is just a few blocks away and you can walk everywhere. The subway train is also close by. The apt itself is chic, stylish and clean. The bed was comfortable which was important after long days of walking around the city. She has an inflatable mattress if needed for additional guests. If I had to point out something negative about the apt it would be the low water pressure in the shower, but that may be typical of the older buildings in Philly and it wasn't a major issue for me since everything else about the apt was great. I would live here if I lived in Philly!
Nakia is a great host. She let me check in early so I could drop my bags off and freshen up to tour the city after a long flight. She was very responsive during the renting process, unlike many other hosts I encountered in Philly. I can tell that Nakia is very attentive to her guests and even greeted me with a bottle of wine. I hope to stay here again if I make it back to Philly.
