Hardwood floors, huge windows, great lighting and high ceilings grace the living-room, bedroom and flow-thru kitchen in this recently renovated apartment. The unit is one of a few in a historic boutique apartment building (100 years old), complete with doorman, elevators and a gym.
Washer, dryer and dishwasher are available in the unit; marble floors and shower in bathroom; and granite countertops and Waterworks fixtures in bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen is furnished with lots of pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, french press, Whirlpool (dishwasher, microwave and electric range stove/oven) and Frigidaire (stainless steel refrigerator) appliances.
Long term stays are available at a discounted rate! Note that the photos on streetview were taken from the back of the building and do not accurately reflect the charm of the building and location.

The apartment is just steps away from Suburban Station (giving access to regional rail service to Philadelphia suburbs, New Jersey and New York City, connects to 30th Street station); two blocks away from trolley stop; located along the 21 and 42 bus routes.
A steady flow of taxicabs are available at doorstep.Just a few minutes walk from 30th Street Station (giving access to Amtrak's Northeast Corridor and Keystone Services, including New York City, Washington DC, Pittsburgh and many points beyond).
Walk to nearby Art Museum district. Trek farther west to University City and east to Old City.

ABOUT ME: I'm a lawyer (Brown/U. Penn) and have lived previously in University City and another location in Rittenhouse, but I've been at this location for almost four years and I love it! I'm looking for quiet, respectful professionals as guests (no parties allowed and no smoking).
WHEN BOOKING: Note - the minimum stay is currently 2 nights. Please provide all requested check-in and check-out times BEFORE booking the residence, otherwise arrangements to pick up the key ahead of time must be made by the guest. Check-in is generally available 3 p.m.-8 p.m. and check-out is before noon but other times may be accommodated if agreed ahead of booking. As the apartment is fully furnished, no additional furniture/fixtures are permitted.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Please note as well that this is a quiet building, so no parties or groups are permitted and please keep sound at a reasonable level. Note as well, however, that you can hear the washer during the rinse and spin cycles. Additionally, there is usually parking available on my block (note the restrictions and Philadelphia Parking Authority's zealousness in disseminating tickets :-)) and there are reasonably-priced parking lot nearby surrounding the block.

Rittenhouse neighborhood and all of its many shops, restaurants and excellent night life. Just steps away from Rittenhouse park. A stone's throw from all the museums on the Parkway and an easy commute (walking or otherwise) to Old City, Northern Liberties or University City.
Interaction with Guests
This space is perfect for 1 or 2 people and can accommodate 3. There is a sofa in the living room but it may not be as comfortable as the bed (the bed is notoriously comfortable with good back support and luxury linens). An air mattress is available upon request.
Two empty bedside tables and two back-of-the-door set of clothing hooks will be provided to hang clothes but note that additional closet space will not be available unless specifically arranged for in advance.
Note - the minimum stay is usually 3-4 nights and the maximum is usually one month. Weekly pricing applies only at certain times, please let me know if you'd be interested. Check-in and check-out times for key exchanges are usually between 12 p.m. -4 p.m. but may be extended if agreed separately (please provide requested times upon booking the residence).
Also, please be aware that the neighbors are quiet, so sound/noise should be kept at a minimum at all times. Additional requirements follow:

*Deposit Returned Upon Inspection
*$35.00 charge for lost keys (in addition to any fedex or other costs to provide replacement sets if host is out of town)
*Host Reserves The Right To Enter Premises With Notice
*Host Reserves The Right To Remove Guests That Receive Noise Complaints From Neighbors Reported to Landlord. This will cause the loss of your deposit.
* The Guest Who Booked The Apartment Is Responsible For Anyone Staying With Them During The Dates Of Their Booking.
*BOOKING THE APARTMENT MEANS THAT ANYONE RENTING THE APARTMENT HAS READ THESE TERMS AND AGREES TO THEM.
