The river is a favorite breeding ground for ducks, and the marsh harrier, the osprey and ice birds have also been spotted. Animals are frequent guests of goats, rabbits, foxes, less often you can see a mink, a mink and even a beaver. The Põltsamaa River passing in front of the house is rich in fish - pike, perch and river trout are well represented.

Other things to note
On the property are the buildings of Old-Packland pasture manor from the 18th century - dryer and stables. Belonging to the castle of Põltsamaa, there was a mirrored factory and a copper mill on the Kamari River Oak. In the 1920s, in the 1920s, the property was owned by August Laur in the Estonian War of Independence, who established new residential buildings there. August Laur was a recognized farmer, politician, and multiple member of the Riigikogu. August Laur was deported to Russia in 1941. In the years of occupation, apartments were established in the residential building, for a while also a kindergarten operated in the house. In the 1990s, the property was returned to the descendants of August Laur. The restoration and development of the farm is still in progress.
