John, Brenda & kids ~ Your Innkeepers
My family and I had a great two-night stay at Brenda's lovely, rustic b and b. We stayed in the roomy Sunrise Sweet and enjoyed the comfortable bed and the lovely porch views of the mountains. Breakfast was served hot and delicious in the lobby area of the inn. I loved the maps of the world showcasing the many countries and all fifty states from which guests at the inn have come! Brenda's place is a true family affair, and it was great meeting her husband and son.
We stayed in the Sunset suite. The views were amazing as well as the breakfast. Everything we needed was there. We BBQ'd both nights I recommend that as you don't want to miss the view. FYI the drive to Yosemite is an hour away, but there is decent hiking nearby.
Hope we get to return again!
Our stay at the sunrise suite was absolutely wonderful and i would recommend everyone to stay here while visiting Yosemite. The breakfast is fantastic. The views are spectacular and we very much enjoyed the BBQ area at night.
We had a wonderful stay at the Sunrise Suite for two nights. The suite was as described, with great attention to detail. We had a warm welcome, great breakfast, and comfortable rooms. We particularly enjoyed talking to the owners who made us feel welcome and gave us great tips for visiting Yosemite. I definitely recommend staying here!
A wonderful place, great tranquil atmosphere and both hosts were very helpful warm and welcoming, breakfast in their main lobby was delightful and there was an almost endless supply of food. We both very much enjoyed our stay and we are finding in so many places we visit that we should have tried to spend longer at them.
My wife and I had an excellent stay in the sunrise suite. We spent the weekend to celebrate our anniversary and the 4th hiking in Yosemite. Brenda and John are excellent hosts. The breakfast was fantastic. Brenda even went out of her way to pick us up vegetarian sausage patties, which were promptly thrown on the skillet as soon as we stepped in each morning. John was very welcoming and provided us with all we needed to know about hiking Yosemite. This is a wonderfully run, family establishment and I highly recommend staying here.
We arrived early afternoon and check in was very easy. we were shown to our room and it was like something from a movie. It was so cute, amazing views from the decking. Breakfast was exactly what you needed before starting your adventure around Yosemite, and the pancakes were amazing. My only fault would be signage, we did not have a GPS and driving home late in the evening was very difficult to find the turn off the main road. Other then that I would highly recommend staying here. Great room and great hosts.
