I rent out a bedroom 1 or 2 people only, in Manhattan, the room is nice and charming with lot of natural daylight, spacious, cozy and very quite. The place has WiFi . The room has a Full bed, 42" flat screen TV set, and A/C, Bathroom with bathtub and I provide bath towels, also you can use the kitchen for light cooking and the refrigerator to cool drinks and keep some food. Located close to Fort Tryon Park: "The Cloisters". Yeshiva University and The George Washington Bridge/. Near Subway station 181th st. with "A" Express and No.1 line, just 22 minutes to 42th st TIMES SQUARE. Nice and safe neighborhood. You find a convenient place close to the "A" train subway line that run all the west side of Manhattan so very convenient to hang out in the city. During the day till 10 pm the "A" line run Express.
There are many Latin restaurants few blocks away and also new spots of different kind of food have been opened lately.

NEIGHBORHOOD & NOTED SITES: The Cloisters (Medieval Art branch of The Metropolitan Museum); Fort Tryon Park and views of the Palisades; George Washington Bridge; Little Red Lighthouse; Morris-Jumel Mansion (oldest house in Manhattan); New Balance Track and Field Center. The neighborhood is mostly noted for its association to the 2008 Tony Award winning musical "In The Heights". Restaurants of varying cuisine in the neighborhood, several with live music & jazz. Within walking distance to New York Presbyterian Hospital. Easy commute to Columbia University.
My apartment is quite, It receives nice natural Sun light from the East in the Morning, the bedroom has a nice spacious proportion.
I am very friendly and let people feel free around the house, but I give privacy lot of importance and I do not like to disturb my guests when I am around the house. I wiould look the right moment to interact or share conversations and experience with my guests.
My Neighborhood is also called Hudson Heights, bordering something between Washington Heights in the South, Inwood in the North and Fort George in the Northeast and the Hudson River in the West. It is a quite, mostly Jew community, one synagogue is right cross my building. But also by the east is very Hispanic. There are lot of cheap places in the Spanish area, but also trendy with charm personality places over 187th st and Fort Washington just 2 blocks from my building. The area is safe, even at night. There are bus stop right in from of the building (Buses that run over Broadway) and Laundry rooms and grocery right close the building.

Gregorio's place was great. Since we were driving in from Ohio, it was fantastic that we could get access to the apartment even before we were able to meet him personally. The room was a very nice size for my wife and I and close enough to the subway (the 1 train) to make it just as convenient to our daughter in the UWS.
We found a parking lot (paid!) just around the corner where we could leave our car from Sunday evening to Tuesday morning and not worry about street-cleaning schedules.
We were pleased to find that his taste in art is very similar to our own and that Gregorio was actually the artist responsible for a few pieces.
We'll definitely be checking availability the next time we visit NYC.
Great room in a quaint apartment in Washington Heights that is convenient to both A and 1 metro lines. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and Gregorio is a super friendly, well-traveled man (whom I unfortunately didn't get to interact with too much because he's always SO BUSY! =P). I really enjoyed the neighborhood, actually. It's a predominantly Latino community, which means cheap Dominican/Mexican/Salvadorian delivery and take-out pretty much anyyyyyy time of the day, which I was VERY okay with! Also, cheap groceries in the bodegas on St. Nicholas St! There is also a sprinkling of newer, hipster bars and cafes in the neighborhood. A few blocks east, and you have Yeshiva University, so there are plenty of kosher delis and the BEST SCHWARMA PLACE (Golam Heights)!
Overall, Gregorio's apartment was perfect for my needs. I spent a full month here while doing a visiting clerkship at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital....it was an easy, fast commute to work, and there are plenty of cheap food options in the area for those weekend study sessions. :)
Gregorio is a great host. The room is exactly like the picture, its cozy clean, and organized. The neighbourhood is quiet, and the walk to the subway is quick and easy, only take 25-30 mins one way to Time Square, 42nd st . The host is very helpful for directions that I asked. I recommend to stay at his apartment.
Staying at Gregorio's was a great experience, it was a nice apartment, and for two girls we felt safe in the area. We felt welcome in the apartment, the subway and many buses were close by. There is also a paid parking beside the apartment which was convenient for us as we drove to NYC. Would stay again!
Gregorio's place was just as advertised. It was close to the subways, clean, and spacious. Gregorio was a great host. We recommend his place very highly.
Mariano and I felt very welcomed at Gregorio's place. The room was clean, organized, and very comfortable. The bathroom was also neat. It couldn't be better! His neighborhood was nice and cute and we always felt safe walking from/to the metro which was just a few steps away. Gregorio was extremely helpful in giving us directions and good advice about places where to eat and hang out. He gave us excellent tips! He was very responsive to our needs although we were texting him in the middle of his work day!
Muchísimas gracias por todo Gregorio! Eres bienvenido a Tampa cuando quieras :)

I only met Gregorio very briefly, but we communicated through email and he was very prompt to answer. The room is exactly like the picture, the neighbourhood is indeed nice and quiet, and the walk to the subway is quick and easy. We had a very pleasant experience.
Amazing!!! In the words of a great host, Gregorio himself.
He is absolutely remarkable. From the first day he was more than willing to help me out with anything.
His place is in a cool neighborhood with easy access to midtown manhattan (app. 15 min). Gregorio has a very nice and clean apartment and you get much more than what you pay for :) He is very outgoing and up for anything, like comedy clubs, dance clubs, bars etc.
I definitely recommend staying at his place!! Thanks G!!
