We really enjoyed out time at Pina's. The apartment was close to the metro and the super market which was really convenient. Pina's apartment is a great place to stay, with all the amenities (washing machine, TV, AC, stove, etc). Her sister Emilia came to meet us upon arrival and was very helpful with giving us information about the area as well as tips for sightseeing. Although we did not have a chance to meet Pina in person, she was always available by phone (which she had provided). Her apartment is a lovely place to stay and will allow you to see all the main sights in the city!

We stayed at the Gli Archi apartment for three nights in mid-September. Pina and her family were excellent hosts. They went above and beyond to be sure everything was taken care of during our stay. We requested transfer from the airport, and Pina and husband Leo were waiting for us when we arrived. Our flight was delayed (thanks to an aborted landing attempt) and our luggage delayed further (weather), but they waited for us and we communicated through (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) during the delay. Leo drove us home, masterfully navigating through/around flooded roadways to get us home. The second floor apartment is great - spacious bedroom and living room with modern bathroom and kitchen. I especially enjoyed learning how to make Italian coffee on the stove (thanks, YouTube!), and we cooked ourselves breakfast each morning. Located next to the aqueduct (beautiful) in a quiet neighborhood, the apartment is convenient to the Metro (Porta Furba stop of Line A) and just down the street from a very nice park (Tur Fiscale). There are also plenty of restaurants in the area, and we enjoyed Il Borge and the Secret Garden. Throughout our stay, Pina was just a message or phone call away - they supply a cell phone, if needed, though we didn't take it out of the apartment. I messaged her many questions about tours, public transportation, soccer games, etc., and she always did her best to find an answer. When we originally booked, she supplied a very helpful guide - 10 or more pages of transportation/food/sightseeing tips that we referred to often. This was our first AirBNB experience, and it was a real winner. I can highly recommend staying at this apartment.

The apartment was wonderful. It was quiet and very relaxing. Emilia (Pina's sister) met us at the house and explained everything to us. She then walked me down to the supermarket and showed me where the metro station was. They then called me to let me know about some things happening with the metro. Great place. It is about a 15 minute metro ride from the big touristy spots in Rome like the Vatican but that is why I picked it. The apartment is like 5 minutes from the metro station so it is super easy to get there. I wanted to be off the beaten path just a little. The neighborhood is great! Thanks again Pina and Emilia.

Host: Pina, her husband, and her sister were excellent hosts. They helped us with our bags on arrival and called a large taxi for us on checkout. During our stay, Pina lent us a phone with an Italian Sim Card and minutes just in case, and even provided some great tips on great coffee places to check out. We even had some minor troubles with the oven, and sent her a (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and she called back after 2 minutes even though she was out with friends. Apartment: The place was very clean and spacious. The A/C and washer was great to have, and it was nice that Olive Oil, some spices, coffee, tea, jam, was provided. The Wifi was very strong as well. Location: About a 5 minute walk to Metro station and 24h supermarket. Normally would take 15 minutes to central sites, but Unfortunately the line A is under construction until end of September so we had to take a bus which is a bit slow. Overall, I enjoyed it and would stay here again. Thanks Pina.

Pina was an awesome host. She answered any questions we had prior and during the trip. My sister and I went the cheap route and ended up getting lost, and arriving in the area later than expected with no way to communicate with Pina or her family. Her husband and sister were out in the area looking for us!!! They go out of their way to make sure everything is right. The place is clean, everything expected and gives you a taste of what it's like to live in Rome, as well having air conditioning was a huge plus since it was hot and humid everywhere else. The place is close to te metro and very reasonably priced and local restaurants, cafe and 24hr supermarket was a huge plus! If I ever return to to Rome, I will definitely check out Pina's place again! Thanks so much Pina and family!! :)

This is the best place to stay in Rome. Pina is the best host! There is a Metro near the apartment (5 min aprox). The area is very good (shops, market, ice cream) maybe not at night if you cross the park from 22 pm or later.

I am a licensed guide of Rome, I was born here and always lived here, though I deeply love to travel and to experience different countries and people. I will love to help my guests in discovering my "secret places" in Rome (the most stunning views, my favourite "trattorie" and ice cream makers...)
Vi aspetto a Roma!!
