Discover Local's Favorites & Stories
This is a very personal style tour, it is started with the idea 'Your local friend always bring you the best', imagine to have a friend when you arrived to a new city, that's same as what I wanted when I travel. This tour is about communicating and making friends, as well as culture sharing and discovering. Unlike many traditional guided group that you can easily found in else where, I would not introduce you some places you would easily found on internet, and probably you won't learn too much knowledge of the formal history. This is cool for you, if you are ready to meet new friend, get some ideas of where to visit in Penang/Malaysia. I'm ready to share my experience and my life in Penang/Malaysia and I would like to hear your story too. We will meet in a brunch shop where we enjoy our food and get to know each other as well as share our stories of traveling and of course everything about Penang/Malaysia. Then, we'll witness and felt the soul and spirit of Penang in Little India and Clan Jetty where exemplary heritage way of living is showcased. NOTE: An additional charge of USD12 (RM50) will be applied on top of the original state price if there's only 1 (person) booking for that day.

Mad Moo Moo's Morning Meal Marathon
The beautiful morning kicked start in a special way, your first meal will be sampling a Penang version of banana pancake (sweet and savoury) with a delicious local style coffee. We then head to one of the best local morning wet market for some dishes. There I will bring you to eat what I think is the best version of Peranakan Nasi Lemak - coconut rice with grilled fish and assam prawn (this stall has been established for more than 30 years and it is very much the local's breakfast go-to place). This stall has run for generations and remained local's favourite throughout 30 years. We will then stroll around the market to sample a couple of local desserts. To burn off the calories we ate we take a short walk to a interesting Thai reclining Buddha temple in the area, before heading to our next meal, also the island best kept secret place for a dish called Nasi Kandar. Depending whether you can still fit in more before we finish our trip with local Nyonya desserts, I will take you to sample some of the best local roti (roti Planta, roti Bom and plain roti) with a glass of local tea 'Teh Tarik' at a restaurant of local favourite. Penang is world famous for its food, so let's try and eat all of it in a single food tour! Other things to note Please wear a comfortable shoes because it will be a little walking. Most importantly stay curious and please come with an empty stomach.
